everythings matey, i read on wiki they says it was just started early 2000s in London, and who else the other producers? is it different DUBSTEP and GRIME?

pencerahan musik baru lagi buat gw soalnya, kira2 di Indonesia cocoknya di mainin dimana? acaranya DnB or punya acara sendiri? gw pengen banget bawa rusko or skream ke indo klo ada rezeki.hihihi amien

Lu kan di UK Do... lu gabung komunitas di situ donk... Kalau di ID biasanya ya barengan ma DNB.. Kalau scene yg pernah aku alami sih di Jogja (walau bentar dan tau dikit aja).. Waktu itu tepatnya di Mixtape (punya Bullebali - yg udah tutup) anak2 (P.O.S.) main aja ngikutin flow aja main disco, house, baltimore, hiphop, till dubstep (DNB indeed).. Yah tapi belum menjumpai event dubstep all night long..

wah lis bukannya ngga mau ngikuitin, cuma ini sih gw anggep jd pencerahan musik aja, maklum roots hiphop aja masih gw telusurin skrg..

honestly gw denger nama rusko udah lama dr majalan dj mag, gw liat nih dj gayanya nyentrik banget sampe akhirnya gw nonton dia live waktu main di acaranya MAD DECENT bareng diplo sm fakeblood, klo skream sm benga gw udh pernah liat mereka di gatecrasher tahun lalu, gw tertarik disitu karena formasi mereka 2djs 1mc.

nah klo ada yg lain2 lagi producer or dj2nya? ada blog2 mereka yg ciamik boleh tuh di share?

to be honest,first time i knew Dubstep was when Mr.Dymz playing it at Crime Scene event,in Jkt.

Dubstep and Grime is different,in a matter of beats,mix, and shit.. Di Indo terutama di jkt,Dubstep and Grime is Crime Scene's theme,kalo mau maen dubstep,grime,crank house,dnb,dll di situlah tempatnya.

i know really shortlist of dubstep and grime producers; Caspa, Rusko, Benny Page, Nero, Camo & Krooked, Jack Beats,etc

Di Jogja ada Principle of South i.e. DJ Latex yg kadang main dubstep/hiphop. Terus Tim, oz mate based in Jogja who plays hiphop/dubstep too.

wah bawa donk rusko ke sini hehehe
well my opinion is dubstep is the next evolution from underground breaks and heavy bass music ( Breakbeat, DnB, Ragga, Hiphop even 2 step). Beberapa tahun lalu muncul sempalan gerne DnB with house & RnB influece as 2 step & speed garage, but is now desepearing scene krna mungkin kurang diterima dan tdk seunderground jungle . Sekarang dg munculnya dubstep, kelihatan scene ini sangat amat diterima baik di induk gernenya , maupun scene lain like house / or Nu rave sekarang. Dubstep is here for stay. Ass for DnB addict...a good wobling nasty subbassline with half beat is still feels good.

Kalo di indo sekarang dubstep sering di puter di party2 dnb, karena banyak juga DJ dan crowd dnb yg suka dg dubstep, tidak ada salahya kalo ada Dubstep night khusus, akan semakin mewarnai scene underground di sini.....

dubstep sangar, tp gw lebih suka yg cenderung atmospheric - minimalistic model burial ( check http://bonafidedarling.blogspot.com/2009/07/new-burial.html for downloads) atau Boxcutter ( Sound glitch-y model apex twin, myu-zic atau eDIT, tp masih ada slopes of sub-bass yg jd trademark dubstep).. oh ya, sama kaman leung juga.. cenderung menjurus ke abstract instrumental hip hop sih, tp arah2nya ya ke dub step gw rasa.. Surprisingly, ternyata sekarang dubstep juga cenderung bisa dikawinin ke.. minimal tech! Jadinya ya Dubtek (jangan ketuker sama dubtech, kl ini beda lg), atau ada jug ayg bilang tech-step. Model2 artist nya kayak appleblim (http://www.sendspace.com/file/uzkxkz -> mixtape nya b2b sama ramadanman, check playlistnya di http://thesonicminefeild.blogspot.com/2008/06/dubstep-techno-hybrid-tech-step-dub-no.html , ada villalobos side by side ama artist dubstep model pangaea, dan glitch hop seperti Ghizlain Poirier) shackleton atau gatekeeper.. oh buat local, si electrofuxx juga skrg mulai produce dubstep sih.. kl gak salah gw sempey upload link video youtube nya.. ada deh di sekitar sini.. hehehe
