The name Mike Redfern is synonymous with quality underground house music. From his beginnings, Mike has shown a passion for genres ranging from tech, minimal and deep house through to twisted breaks and this diversity of influences shines through in his Dj sets and productions.

Never following the current trends and fads of dance music, Mike consistently hunts down and delivers the freshest possible music he can find, rather than imitating what is found on the top 10 charts. Mike is a regular at all of the major Australian dance music festivals and consistently rocks dancefloors at events across Brisbane, and around Australia, where his distinct take on house music has made him a favourite with clubbers, promoters and fellow Dj's. 

Mike has also been spending more time in the studio with production partner Murray Antill, working on their own edits, remixes and productions. Determined to create a distinct sound which allows them to draw influence from differing musical backgrounds, the music is forming into a unique blend of deep tech house and melodic techno.  There tracks quickly gained the attention of INFUSION front man Jamie Stevens who has already signed both artists to his new Dieb label (which also features Francois Dubais/Funk Da Void, Tigerstripes, Deepchild, Stel, Smith and Selway and many more fantastic producers) for the release of there first two productions in 2008 and they will also be remixing his latest tune which is set to be a massive hit in clubs across the globe.

Mike, alongside Fergus Alexander and BPM, runs LOGIC Events. The LOGIC brand was created with a commitment to supply dance floors with a unique mixture of upfront music that was not being heard within the Brisbane dance music community. Each LOGIC member has a very unique musical background and this comes through not only in there own distinct sound when performing, but also in the vast array on internationals they have had appear as guests at there events.

Hi,

I am really looking forward to coming over and playing some music for you all. I have plenty of tunes (including my latest productions) that i am sure will be enjoyed. I am also looking forward to hearing the other dj's on the night, meeting some new people and having a great party.

Alvin we have Gui Boratto in February and are trying to secure Joris Voorn in March so it is a busy time in the LOGIC camp!
