gw mending bangun aspire seri 6000 yang 1.8 giga, trus custom hardcase yang bundled soundcard, soket controller midi en switch box serato scratch inside.... walau mungkin ga se rapi itu, lebih jauh berguna en ketauan dengan duit segitu....

So, to clear things up, the 00DJ is NOT a laptop in a flight case. Laptops are multi-purpose machines built for home and office use and have proved to be unstable in hot club environments; I've been there myself and had nightmares with over-heating. The 00DJ, on the other hand, is a custom-built PC housed in a tough steel briefcase, made for us clumsy DJs!

They told me to drive my car over it, so I did.... and yes, it's tuff! Although PCDJ endorse the product and supply their great software, you can use any software you choose. After all, it's a PC! And this was a huge selling point for me because everyDJ has their own software preferences and it also opens up the possibility for bands to use it live too.

Inside the box you'll find the workings of a powerful solid PC. They've stripped out all the useless Windows software that runs in the background so the machine's power is concentrating on the job in hand.

You'll also find a clever cooling system incorporating two fans, twin 100GB hard drives on rubber mounts to protect from any knocks and bangs, and a built-in soundcard that can be specified on ordering, ensuring you'll have the necessary inputs and outputs for PCDJ, Final Scratch, Ableton Live etc.

On test, I hammered this machine using Ableton Live and various VST plug-ins. I even left it running overnight with the processors at full pelt in my hot studio. The next morning the room was boiling hot but the 00DJ was cool and importantly, still running.
Now you can simply turn up to a gig, open your case and play your set. No more worrying about plugging and powering external soundcards, which has always been my most tedious gripe.

An inbuilt Gigaport AG 24-bit soundcard supports 4 separate stereo audio outputs.This means that through the options within PCDJ, the 4 sets of phono connectors on the front of the unit can be configured in many different ways. If the 00DJ is to be simply connected directly to a sound system, one stereo output can be used as a master output, and the digital mixer provided by PCDJ can be used to fade between the two digital players. PCDJ also supports a separate 'cue' output which can be assigned to one of the sets of phonos and used like the selectable cue function of a regular mixer.

Alternatively each digital player can be connected via a separate set of phonos to separate channels of a mixer, offering a more conventional approach. It is widely agreed that for reliable digital DJing, a dedicated computer should be used for that sole purpose. Therefore, as a specifically designed digital DJ module, the 00DJ has no modem, network port or other peripheral connections. There is also no CD or floppy disk drive, although an external CD drive could be connected via the USB ports for loading music. Alternatively, the unit can be connected to a regular PC in order to copy music to the hard drives.

You could use a laptop, with extras like a separate sound card. But will probably find that it would need replacing much more quickly, as laptops are simply not designed for mobile DJing. On the other hand, you could use a rack mountable PC, but you would then need a separate keyboard, monitor and pointing device.

I think anyone contemplating the move to digital DJing for the first time should look past the price tag and consider the long
term. This 00DJ was designed and manufactured especially for the digital DJ and provides the features and reliability that are
essential to keep a mobile show on the road.

They've now added a FireWire port. There are also three USB 2.0 ports and a VGA output for extra monitoring. DJs also no longer need a DJ mixer as four mini-jack connections - two for each of the outputs and two mic inputs – have been added

Skarang banyak ya DJ2 pake laptop.. Above n beyond gw liat jg pake laptop..
Blank n Jones jg pake, malah pake console DJ hercules kayak gw (bangga gw, padahal gw ga pernah pake ni alat di club)
makanya gw heran waktu BNJ pake padahal kata orang2 Hercules console itu ancurrr

Tapi tetep lebih asik kayak chemical brother, underworld, prodigy, mylo..
