On Saturday 23rd July 2005, 2020Soundsystem featuring Ralph Lawson, Silver City, Dubble D will be coming to London to perform a 3 hour session in the main room at the Rhythm Factory. 2020Soundsystem is a musical experience which fuses DJs, producers and live musicians. The system is half man, half beast; half club DJ, half live band, with no break between the two, but a continuous mix featuring new material and reworked versions of 2020Vision tracks blended with the latest and best new music from Ralph Lawson's selection. Ralph Lawson (resident DJ at legendary club Back to Basics in Leeds and founder member of 2020Vision recordings) controls dex, fx, loops and samples, joined on stage by drummer Dubble D and Silver City perform live bass guitar and keys. Up and coming duo and Fruity residents insignificant Others (Skyline) will be providing DJ support with their groovy electro-funk sound.

In Room 2, Freerange Records will be looking after procedures, showcasing their cream of talent from this ever consistent label. Switch have been causing dancefloor mayhem with their unique bass-heavy cut-up sound. Switch have been hitting top form with the latest release ‘Jus Bounce To This’ following the massive ‘Get Ya Dub On’ and ‘Get On Downz’. Jimpster is not only the founder of Freerange Records but is also a member of highly acclaimed live outfit The Bays. As a leading figure in the so-called 'Nu Jazz' scene, Jimpster has been in demand for remix and co-production projects including remixes for Lamb, Mixmaster Morris, Wai Wan, Airto Moriera as well as producing for Coldcut and co-writing with Kirk Degiorgio. Also DJing in Room 2 is another member of The Bays, Palm Skin Productions now releasing deep, dancefloor friendly grooves on Freerange.
