Renaissance celebrate the release of their 50th album with one of their favourite acolytes, Hernan Cattaneo...

There were only a handful of candidates to handle Renaissance's 50th album milestone, but perhaps none more suited than Hernan Cattaneo. His previous entries into the series have established themselves as true classics, giving rise to calls, emails, even PM's to the Renaissance office imploring us to re-secure the talents of the legendary South American.

In light of such demand, who were we to argue?

Add in the heightened anticipation of the fact it's Hernan's first compilation in two years and the stage is well and truly set, perfectly echoed in a recent post by one avid member of a dance message board, 'Damn, this is a 'must have' compilation!'

And Hernan has clearly risen to the challenge. Working alongside various friends and producers from around the world he blurs the lines between artist album and compilation by including no less than 12 of his own originals, edits and remixes within the 29 strong, 2CD track list. "You've got to distinguish a compilation in this digital age," he says, "It's important fans and listeners feel they're getting a unique mix, elevated beyond a standard club set. I hope this comes across with the album, it's the product of many sleepless nights, hours in the studio and a lot of care and passion."

Looking to the wider selection it's clear Cattaneo hasn't rested on his laurels as he features some of the brightest luminaries from the scene, taking in James Zabiela, Danny Howells, Guy Gerber, Timo Maas, Skylark, Guy J, Henry Saiz, plus many more, all segued by his flawless mixing style; yet another timeless addition to Hernan's body of work and the Masters Series.

Due to the Icelandic volcano ashes that has erupted all flights have been either suspended, grounded & most airports closed.
Our beloved DJ Hernan has been stuck at Paris Airport since yesterday and have missed his gig @ zouk & will also be missing our gig here at Biblioteque.
The club will still be open as usual and DJ Neshproject will filling instead.

We will inform you as soon as we reschedule his date.

From that experience and from his own creative spirit, when Eddie is the main act, he is known amongst fans and those in the business to play music that fills people's minds so they are charged with the energy and spirit of true diversion and the transforming power of music.

Eddie's New track " GOD SAID" is now supported by Hernan cattaneo and many other respected DJS. Throw in his radio experience with two years under his belt hosting his own shows as the first foreigner in Guangdong province & one of the most popular shows at the time and Throw in a few releases under Beatfreak, Menta Records, RPO Records, Delete Records, Eddie is truly a DJ with passion, commitment and creativity with a rising and promising career ahead of him.

-   2008 – 2006 – Shenzhen and Shanghai G-Spot – played with and booked some of the best known DJ's in the business including Tiesto, John DIgweed, Timo Mass, Hernan Cattaneo,

-   22 May 2006 - Launched 2 huge tours with Both Legends Paul Oakenfold & Hernan Cattaneo in cooperation with Chivas Regal as sponsors playing major Cities in China such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Kunming & Guangzhou. Eddie played alongside the two powerhouse djs at every stop on the tour.

-   November 2005 - John Digweed - supporting DJ but also the Promoter playing alongside Digweed at every stop on the tour, setting the tone for the Chinese debut of one of the worlds most sought after DJs.
