J-Reverse or Jackie Reverse starts his career as a radio-dj when he was only 15 years old. Two years later, in 1986, he was hired as dj in a local club and after some seasonal residencies in several local clubs he soon started working free lance across Italy. In 1991, in collaboration with HWW Production, he starts producing house tracks and remixing various tracks for several Italian dance labels such as UMM, Groove Groove melody and Time. In 1993, after his departure from HWW, he relocates to New York, working as producer and remixer for renowned labels such as Eightball, Cutting, Radical, Bad boyz. In the US he ripens his sound that can now be defined as a funk based house style. Two of his remixes during the American experience sign his producer's life, the world hits: Shimmy shake by 740 boys (Cutting rec. - MCA) and Kickin' the beat by Pamela Fernandez (Cutting rec. - Ore music). In 1995, back in Italy, he establishes his own recording studio and production company (Mega Tone Productions), working intensively on both domestic and international market. In 1997 the American magazine Street sound includes his name in the 97 world top 40 house producers side by side with names such as Mousse T, Armand Van Helden etc. In 1999 with the pseudonym of Black Legend he produces the world hit You see the trouble with me for Rise/Time records. Black Legend sold over a million copies and J-Reverse was awarded with one silver disc, two gold discs and one platinum disc. Due the massive success, the following two years are very busy times, remixing very important projects for major labels (i.e. Another Day In Paradise by Brandy for WEA) but always finding the time to produce and release what he always loved, club music. During the year 2003, he starts his own record label called Reverse Records that in only 1 year achieves great results having most of its releases supported by the most famous djs in the world and getting to the top positions of most European charts with the Cocobongo's project, meanwhile J-Reverse released smashing remixes such as What Happened by Harry Choo Choo Romero and The Weekend by Michael Gray to name a few. Cocobongo was soon supported by Pete Tong, that played it in his Essential Selection for several weeks. Licensed to Manifesto for the UK market, it is already number one in the hype charts in Scandinavia where it is next to be released. During its pre-release period Cocobongo was supported by the most famous djs becoming an anthem in Ibiza in summer 2004, but it is set to become a hit in summer 2005. In addition to the success for his productions/remixes, J-Reverse is always travelling djing in the most renowned clubs, both domestic and international, including: Club more Amsterdam, Groove lift Bern, Pacha Ibiza, Tantra Miami, just to name a few.
