BIOGRAPHY:

PEACHES

Peaches is a phenomena; the self-made, self-produced, do-it-yourself leader of the dance electro punk movement and high priestess of the original dirty classic. Unique with her minimal pumping beats and loved by true innovators as diverse as Iggy Pop, Bjork, Josh Homme, Lil' Kim, Kelis, 2 Many DJs, M.I.A. and LCD Soundsystem...not to mention a full embrace from the fashion and art world (featured on Paris runways, the backdrop for Victoria's Secret TV Runway broadcast), photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and even inspired Kate Moss to sport a beard on the cover of V Mag!

Her live shows are legendary - a one-woman "Kiss" concert that has left the pop-culture world in awe! Where debut album The Teaches of Peaches was about the self and track the FatherFCUKer was about blurring the lines of gender and asking questions about yourself, her second album release, ImPeach My Bush, was an album for the masses, a social album – to challenge, educate and encourage. ImPeach My Bush was Peaches' way of questioning power structures through the medium of xes. In the end, the message was delivered loud and clear via Peaches' innovative trademark electro-rock cannon.

In 2006 Peaches set out to infiltrate the mainstream without compromise, and infiltrate it she did; "Do Ya" was used in the summer advertising campaign for The Gap, "Boys Wanna Be Her" featured in Ugly Betty and The L Word and then re-emerged in the top 5 of iTunes electronic charts following it's placement in MTV's Jackass 2. "Downtown" lives on in The Soprano's playstation video game. Peaches was nominated for the second time in 2006 for a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Musical Performer. The "Boys Wanna Be Her" video was nominated by the MVPA for best make-up. Peaches was also invited to appear as herself for the Showtime drama The L Word.

The last two albums were made almost solely with the MC505 box. Her third album release I Feel Cream Peaches turned up the heat to reach a full soundgasm using original analogue gear such as Moogs, original drum machines (such as 808s) and the 'rock' songs are fully realised, with more live drums, more Les Paul Gibson guitars and more Marshall amps with stunning results.

Peaches live has kicked off opening for Nine Inch Nails (personally selected by Trent Reznor), sold out a US headlining club tour, was one of Australia's Big Day Out festival featured attractions. She gave one of the most raved about live performances at Coachella in '07, stormed Europe and Japan and while continuing to tour in 2008 she wrote, recorded and released latest album I Feel Cream in 2009 to great reviews. Peaches toured I Feel Cream throughout 2009 and then played Big Day Out in early 2010 before embarking on her upcoming tour through China, Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia and Singapore.

SHIT ROBOT (DFA)

Marcus Lambkin began DJing in 1992 after moving to NYC from Dublin. There he got together with some friends to play dance music on a Sunday night at the now famous rock venue, Brownies. After learning the ropes at Brownies, Marcus made a mix tape and handed it out to three venues in the hopes of getting some work. He got three gigs, which went on to become two residencies. One of which was the now legendary Save The Robots, where Marcus was resident for 2 years. During this time Marcus met fellow Irishman Dominique Keegan and formed Plant Records, Plant Saturdays and Plant Bar. The latter went on be called the "coolest and loudest bar in New York City" by face magazine (10/02). It was at Plant Bar that Marcus and DFA's James Murphy started the Shit Robot party, named after James' crap robot drawing... In 2004, Marcus left Plant to work independently and moved to Stuttgart with his wife. In April 2006 'the wrong galaxy' and 'triumph!!' 12" was released on DFA records and since then Marcus has been DJing around the world including his new favorites Japan and Brazil.
