BREAKING NEWS!!! GROOVE ARMADA CANCEL...

Dear All,

On behalf of Embassy Club Jakarta, first of all we would like to apologize for the inconvenient regarding to the cancellation of Groove Armada. This press release will also explain in details the reason why Groove Armada has decided to cancel their show at Embassy Jakarta.

The bad news itself was delivered to us on Thursday night 05 April 2007. The real deal behind the cancellation is because of the TRAVEL WARNING that has been issued from their country of origin.

Since then we have tried all the best we can to still make the show happen, in fact our own Brand Director Mr. Yudha Budhisurya on Thursday night has  flew to Singapore straightaway to meet in person and managed to talk with Groove Armada. According to Mr Yudha Budhisurya they were able to talk on Friday night and he was trying he's best to convince Groove Armada about the safety but the decision has been made by the artist.

We sincerely apologize about the condition but we hope that you understand that this is beyond our capability. For those who already purchased the Groove Armada tickets we urge you to contact our representative on 5703704-05 as we will return your money without any exception.

However, the show must go on and we strongly believed that these matters hopefully will not affecting Embassy activities. Please do come and party with us this Saturday 07 April 2007, the DJ's line up will be announced soon. Once again we sincerely apologize for this and hope to see you all tonight at Embassy Club Jakarta.

I'm very sorry but due to the foiling of the terrorist plot this week Tom has cancelled this weekend.

Both the Australian and UK Embassy have advised all UK citizens to avoid travel to Jakarta and Tom wont take the risk. We are happy to refund all fees to you in full and can only apologize for the loss on your part for your hard work, but Tom has a family and the band are on a world tour and its just impossible for us to go against such stringent warnings

We are happy to do a written statement for your press people and internet campaign.
