Other world acclaimed artists and musicians to partner local talent to create a novel music-art festival

19 February 2007 will mark a day of many firsts for the party and music scene in Singapore – when Good Vibrations Festival (GVF) travels from Down Under to our party shores. To be held at Fort Canning Park, Good Vibrations Festival will feature world renowned hip hop group, Beastie Boys, collaborating with producer/ musician, Money Mark and turntablist extraordinaire, Mix Master Mike, who will perform on the same stage for the first time in this region as the headline act of GVF.

Party-goers can also look forward to the best of international talents like Jurassic 5 (USA), Ursula 1000 (USA), Cut Copy (Australia), DJ Dan (USA), Mad Mats (Sweden), Cicada (UK), Electrico (Singapore) and Wicked Aura Batucada (Singapore) at the festival.

In addition to featuring some of the world's and Singapore's best music talent all under one festival, GVF also aims to inculcate an appreciation of art for festival-goers. Local graphic design and visual artists such as Phunk Studio, CAPT and Telephasic Images will be providing cutting-edge visual art to complement the performances of Beastie Boys, Jurassic 5 and other artists.

International graphic design protégé, Rostarr, will also collaborate with other local artists to design a limited edition Good Vibrations Festival Subaru car, and the fruit of their collaboration will be on display on the premises of GVF.
