2008 had been a big year for ATFC. Returning to Defected Records he has featured heavily on both the release and events areas of the business. With 3 dates at the flagship Defected In the House events at Pacha, Ibiza in the bag and countless other dates across the world, he has never been busier behind the CDJ's, while on the production side things have been even more frenetic. His remixes of Funkerman's 'Speed Up' and Danny Clark and Jay Benham's 'Wondrous' took the tracks to a whole new level of success, while forthcoming self-penned tracks 'Juss a Beat', 'Praise the the JB's', 'Give Me Luv' and 'Tell U Y' are adding to his already extensive dancefloor-destroying repertoire.
ATFC said goodbye to 2007 in style. His recent remix of Dubfire's 'Roadkill' was described as 'verging on genius' by Pete Tong. 'Ya Killin Me' was currently being sought out by all the major players in the house world, and he'd just signed exciting single and album deals with 2 of the most respected labels around. His recent dj tour was a huge success with the highlight being the Summerdayze Festival In Australia playing to a crowd of over 20,000 strong.
Having just mixed the Defected Miami album, in 2008 you'll see ATFC appearing on both Defected and Toolroom Records, proving that, if nothing else, the man's more versatile than he looks! For his own labels, Onephatdeeva and Onephatdeepa, he'll be concentrating on releasing underground tunes from new & upcoming artists. Released as download only this will enable the label to continue to thrive and achieve what is was set up to do: release music that otherwise wouldn't be heard. It's well known that ATFC has had three UK top forty hits, played at some of the biggest festivals and clubs around the world during his 18 years as a producer and dj and remixed some the best known music artists, like Moby, Missy Elliot, P Diddy and Fat Boy Slim. Described by DJ Magazine "as one the top .... producers in the world of straight down the line, mainroom house music' he is one of the industries most exciting and consistent artists.
