Karma Resorts is bringing the legendary Jose
Padilla to Bali, who is
regarded by many as one of the leaders of the
ambient and lounge sounds
movement. Jose will be performing a Cafe "di
Mare" chill out afternoon
at "di Mare" restaurant and lounge situated in the
Royal Jimbaran Bay
Resort on Sunday 23rd January.

The whole event is dedicated to raising money for
the relief of victims
of the Boxing Day tsunami which so cruelly hit the
province of Aceh.

The show will be complemented by two other DJ's:
Jonny from Bali and
Mario from Italy. During the afternoon two fashion
shows, one from Body
& Soul and the other from Milo will entertain the
crowd, whilst
renowned Bali based artist Andrew Wellman will
set up a villa based
"one off" art exhibition. Some of his works will be
auctioned
throughout the day to raise further funds for the
disaster relief
effort

Bali Moon and Bacardi Gold will be amongst the
sponsors at the event
and there will be a light BBQ and finger food all
afternoon organized
by Chef Raymond Saja of "di Mare" fame.
Refreshing Italian gelato from
"Studio del Gelato" will be served throughout the
event.

To maximize the benefit for those in need a lucky
draw with some
attractive door prizes will be held thanks to the
generosity of many
local Companies, Restaurants and Hotels.

Apart from all the proceeds from the event, Royal
Jimbaran Bay Resort
will be also be contributing 200 US$ per villa
occupied in the resort
during the night of the 23rd. For those wishing to
