EMBASSY is a club brand with a vision to bring Indonesia dance scene to the next levels and to represent Asia in the globalizing dance scene. EMBASSY's name is known throughout Asia as Indonesia's leading dance institution. With its 6th year coming strong ahead, EMBASSY keeps on setting the benchmark for any clubs in Indonesia by continuously being voted the best club by various polls and medias. Other than clubs in Jakarta, Bandung, and Jogjakarta, EMBASSY is also branching into festival production with PLAYGROUND, and recording industry with EMBASSY RECORDINGS, and this is just the beginning...

EMBASSY PLAYGROUND is an expansion of the EMBASSY brand, it is an annual dance music festival, created with a vision to give the best festival experience Indonesia will ever be witnessing. EMBASSY PLAYGROUND is incorporating different aspects of dance music and its components within the experience of being in a night bazaar / fairground with Live dance / rock bands, live performances, DJs, MCs, dancers, theatrical and acrobatic performers, performing artists, and visuals are presented together under one umbrella, in 4 different stages.

The first EMBASSY PLAYGROUND (2006) saw EMBASSY Jakarta's Taman Ria Senayan Complex compound transformed into a unique outdoor festival ground right in the heart of the city. Artists as diverse as Rabbit in the Moon, The Cuban Brothers, Hipp-E, Johnny Fiasco, Seiji of Bugz in the Attic, Lange, and MC Vika Kova, they all delivered what 6,000 punters had said as event of the year.

Bound by last year's venue capacity, 2008 will see a move to a bigger venue, Carnival Beach in Ancol Dreamland, a beachfront location inside the metro area of Jakarta.

Expect a bigger, and of course better sophomore year for EMBASSY PLAYGROUND 2008!
