STEVIE G Short Bio


STEVE GAMBOA (a.k.a STEVIE G) has been involved in dee jaying, producing and performing live music for 2 decades.
Began as a DJ since 88, spinning hip hop ,rare groove and funk at varies parties in his home town Washington,DC. Soon after he became the bass player for the seminal underground punk group, The Nation of Ullyses.

In DC Stevie was the main resident at the House of Secrets & Summer resident at M3 Music's Sunday twilight party for over 6 years.

He has play along side with many visiting DJ's including Miguel Migs, Rasoul and Lisa Shaw (Naked Music), Timmy Regisford ( Shelter,NY), Matthias "Matty" Heilbronn , Alex From Tokyo, Darshan Jesrani ( Metro Area ),Thievery Corporation and Jose Padila ( Cafe del Mar ).

His eclectic combination of organic styles, ranging from deep and sexy to rhtyhm centric percussion track and has been an imported guest DJ at the world-renowned Ku De Ta bar/restaurant in Bali since 2002 and is currently a permanent resident spinning for sunsets, dinner and late nights throughout the year.
