KEN ISHII
Label SUBLIME RECORDS, Japan – MUSIC MAN, Belgium – SONY MUSIC, Japan

Ken debuted on a legendary Belgian techno label, R & S Records, in 1993.
Then he won No.1 on the UK's NME magazine's techno chart which led him to worldwide recognition.
In 1995, the highly praised album "Jelly Tones" (R & S / Sony) was released.
In the following year, the video clip for the single "Extra" from the "Jelly Tones" album (directed by Koji Morimoto, the animator of the worldwide hit cartoon, "Akira") won MTV Europe's "Dance Video of the Year" award. Since then, Ken has been regarded as one of the Japanese pioneers whose creation is on a world standard.
In 1998, Ken composed and produced the official theme song for the winter Olympics which took place in Nagano, Japan and it was played in more than 70 countries around the world.
Then in 2000, Ken was on the cover of "Newsweek" magazine, featured as a symbol of the Japanese new culture. Also in the same year, he composed the theme song and soundtracks for the mega hit Japanese film, "Whiteout", which led him to a nomination for Japanese Academy Awards.
Then in 2002, Ken finally set up his own label, 70 Drums, and released an album "Future In Light." These days, Ken spends 2/3 of his time in Europe, Asia, North and South America and Oceania DJing and working as a true international artist.
In 2004, he was awarded the best techno DJ at "Dance Music Awards" in Ibiza, Spain, proving himself to be one of the world's most talented DJs in the scene. Last year, he was in charge of the music for Japanese Government's Seto-Nippon Pavilion at World Expo, held in Aichi, Japan.
In November, 2006, he released an original album "SUNRISER". He has also been continuously releasing on his side project, FLR, focusing on the dance floor.

JEROME SYDENHAM
(IBADAN / APOTEK RECORDS, USA)

Jerome Sydenham's illustrious music career took off in the late eighties when he joined the prestigiuos A&R division at Atlantic Records.
While as Sydenham was working with mega stars, ranging from En Vogue to Das Efx, his interest in the underground house scene was also burgeoning.
He landed his first DJ residency at the legendary New York hot spot Nell's in 1987.
In 1995, Sydenham formed the label Ibadan Records and his Dj career went international, producing records and touring with the legends Joe Claussell and Kerri Chandler.
By the time Sydenham and his imprint Ibadan hit the millennium he was pioneering a fresh Tech - House sound with his co-producer Dennis Ferrer, hence the launch of the Ibadan Ten Inch Beats series.
The series led to a string of current club hits including hot releases such as "Timbuktu " (Ibadan ), Stockholm Go Bang!" (Ibadan) and of course the crossover smash "Sandcastles" (Defected/Ibadan).
In 2006 Sydenham followed up with two monumental remixes "He Is" (Copyright/Defected) and Julian Jabre's "Swimming Places" (Defected).
In addition to Sydenham's production repertoire he is also known for his seemingly effortless ability to blend between genres of electronic music (tech-house, techno, electronica, classic house etc.) making him by far one of the more interesting DJs on the international circuit today. Sydenham's desire to push the creative envelope has not stopped here.
In spring 2007 Sydenham, with the release of his techno hit "Asama" launched on his German based label Apotek Records. This creative diversity led to recent remix commissions such as "In the Trees" Faze Action (Juno Records)," Rainbow Delta" Len Faki (OstGut), "1985" Argy (Liebe Detail) and "Vice" Solaris Heights (Renaissance Records) to be released spring/summer 2007.
Jerome Sydenham's recent projects also include a new label collaboration, Avocado Records established in Denmark with legendary Rune RK. Furthermore, Sydenham has teamed up with Japanese producer Hideo Kobayashi forming their new techno duo "Nagano Kitchen".
Their first album recorded in Japan is due out in fall 2007 on Apotek Records/Intergroove.
