Yahh seperti kita tahu ini kan gossip tiap tahun yang realisasinya ga pernah kesampaian, yang membuat heboh kembali tahun ini adalah pihak-pihak yang membuat gossip di FB dan Twitter bahwa Daft Punk akan ke Indonesia...Si @DanceSignal yang bisa kalian follow di Twitter mengatakan Daft Punk akan ke Jakarta tanggal 29 May (mereka bilang kalau mereka dapat info dari sponsor yaitu Djarum dan DanceSignal juga bilang belum tau harga ticket yang akan dijual)....Nah gw sempet dikasih tahu sama temen gw yang abis ngobrol-ngobrol sama pihak Djarum yang menangani events, dari pihak Djarum sendiri aja masih nanya-nanya apa bener DP beneran mau ke Indo...EO/Promoter yang mau bawa DP ke sini emang bilang akan bawa DP tanggal 29 May tapi sampai sekarang mereka belum bisa menunjukkan contract kerja dengan DP yang authentic...

Dan kebetulan kemarin gw iseng-iseng bertanya di twitter kepada salah satu forum edm ternama di negeri tetangga kita, karena gw pikir pasti itu forum tau kalo DP mau mengadakan tour ke Asia...

Nah dijawablah oleh mereka dan gw diberi artikel ini yang pernah mereka muat di websitenya pada bulan November tahun lalu...gw copy+paste nih biar bisa langsung baca...

Fans of those robotic electro superstars Daft Punk have been holding their breath in the hopes that the recent wave of rumours about a Daft Punk world tour would turn out to be true. Well the bad news is those fans have probably passed out now from lack of oxygen, and the worse news is that the leaked dates are completely and utterly fake.

Yep, despite a source 'close to the band' revealing to online ambulance chasers Undercover that the world tour was in the works, Ed Banger bigwig and former Daft Punk manager Busy P (someone who's legitimately 'close' to the band) has quickly quashed the rumours overnight, relaying a message from Daft Punk's management on his Cool Cats blog.

Presaging his blog entry with the words "Just got this email from the Punk's manager. Too bad, I guess we'll all have to wait to see the robots on stage again", Busy P dashed the dreams of a million DP fanboys reposting the original statement.

"There are no tour dates currently planned for Daft Punk. The recent rumors of a Daft Punk tour are false. We would like to ensure that no fans are taken advantage of by fictitious rumors of upcoming shows."

Whilst we had a strong feeling that this tour denial was coming, it still would've been great had the rumoured dates been the real deal. Oh well, we can always dream.

Nah coba tolong deh bagi pihak-pihak yang sudah membocorkan info untuk memberikan klarifikasinya di sini...

First, as a media we received an email from a sponsor about their calendar event.

we also know about this 'yearly rumours' that Daft Punk's Performance to Asia or Jakarta.
so thats why we re-confirmed about it to the sponsor.
and the sponsor told us its not a hoax because its already confirmed in their calendar event.

Well yesterday [ 16 feb ] we back to the sponsor and asked about it.. 'ONE MORE TIME'...
and their still SURE about the date.. 29th of May 2010 by an EO from Jakarta.

so let us breakdown the situation....

A. The Concert is not a hoax.
B. The Promotor succesfully convinced the sponsor in any how.
C. The Promotor may misguided by a 'fictive or fake' agent.

so what DanceSignal can do as media is only update you guys about this by weekly...
we'll keep contact with the sponsor.

if its reschedule / pending / canceled or confirmed, we update you guys right away
