Flash Programmer (FP)

Report to: Manager
Salary: negotiable
Job Location: Bali

Summary of Job Description:
Design and develop quality flash web sites, Flash presentations, interactive movies, and other Flash enabled products for our National and International clients.
Required skills / knowledge
• Expert knowledge of Flash application, Action Scripting, and Photoshop as well as a good working knowledge of HTML and Javascript
• Good knowledge of Macromedia technology
• Experience of any serverside technology interaction with Flash (ASP/JSP/PHP).
• Knowledge of drawing/animation is an advantage
• Basic English knowledge

Primary responsibilities
1. Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
2. Refine data and format final product.
3. Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending code, develop detailed programming logic, and apply changes to existing code.
4. Develop and test additional functionality to existing software.
5. Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
6. Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
7. Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
8. Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
9. Write and maintain programming documentation.
10. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
11. Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
12. Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Additional responsibilities
1. Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members.
2. Provide computer orientation to new company staff.

Working conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires extensive work using a computer. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
