Basement House was firstly established in the year of 2005, which in the beginning is formed for the reason that Ical and Ferdy hold the same passion in music, and such decision was made in a house. As a result, they named it "Basement House".

In 2006, Ferdy decided to leave the group in order to study abroad. Ical decided to continue spreading the spirit of house in Jakarta and any other place with Robin. Furthermore in 2007, Messa as a manager and Anggarez as a DJ jointly entered Basement House. Mike Wowor empowered Basement House in 2008. At the present, Basement House DJs, consisting of Ical, Robin, Anggarez and Mike Wowor comprised different taste of music, such as: Deep house, Acid House, disco, nu disco, jackin, techno, afro beat., etc.

"Jackin' the House" is their monthly house mash-up at the same time as a regular event with various kind of concept in each episode. The fundamental idea of it is in order to make people as relaxed, comfy and happy as they can be with their tunes.

Indication of Basement House's existence in the dance industry has also been supported by fabricating the new years event "SOUNDS OF GILI 2008" on the Gili Islands of Indonesia, a collaboration between Basement House, Microchip and Juice magazine.

Until now Basement House is still consistently approaching underground house in Jakarta scene, through many parties and occasion they encouraged.

ICAL:
DJ Ical started his career as a DJ in the early 2003 The reason why he become a DJ, becouse he fond to create music of his own, especially when the crowd loves it..
At first He started to play House Music such as Deep, Acid, Chicago, French, Funky, Soulful, Tribal, Electro and freakies sound of House Music...
at 2004 became a resident DJ at Club Monaco, Baby Face (2005) and Dizzy Lounge (2006)..
he has performed in several big event like Magical Forest rave party at Gadog [2004], Lost Chapter rave party at Bidadari Island [2005], Lost Chapter 2nd edition rave party at Bidadari Island [2006], Futurekulture at Centro (2006),777 at Puncak (2007), Summer Sunset Session at Dreamland, Bali (2007), Urbanfest at Ancol (2007).
he made the top of 12 of Heineken Thirst Studio (2006) and he has been nominated as best Junior DJ of the year and best House DJ of the year at ravelex electronic dance music awards 2007.
His set has influence from Wicked DJ's (Jeno, Garth, Marky Mark), DJ Gregory (Faya Combo), Craig Bratley, Josh Wink, Martin Solveig and DJ Anton (Future10). His mission is make people loved House Music.



ROBIN:
Robin was born with much passion and talented of music inside. He has a history as a drummer with his band who like to explore many kinds of music from jazz till psychedelic rock. And he has music of his own. Electronic music was always an interest since a young age and inspired by knowd underground house scene local and international from garth, jeno and some talented local heroes. Since heard set of garth and jeno, he like to try mixing and knowing turntables. After that, he began collecting records and start spinning in 2004 and want to more explore. Music from house, deephouse, wicked, nu disco, psychedelic rock till jazz had been played from underground place to big club and lounge in Jakarta, bandung and other country I hope can play in the future. The early mission is share the house music to all people who have passion and respect in electronic music.



ANGGAREZ:
Anggarez found his passion in music since his teenage year, inspired by local and international indie music movement. in 2002 his good friend Dj Nishkra introduced him to the turntables, variety of house music and the dance music scene around Bandung and Jakarta, then he began collecting electronic music records and learning how to mix songs.
Start spinning back in 2003, describe his today musical style anything from house, deephouse, tech-house to electro and nu disco.
with early musical influence from big names like Garth, Jeno, Danny Howells, Rolando, Kraftwerk, Playgroup, Tiga, DFA, DJ T and some talented local heroes.
Have been played from small private party to various club, Bar and lounge around Jakarta, Bandung and Bali like Embassy, Wonderbar, Manna House, Embassy Bandung, Circa, Parc, Centro, Fluid, Fashion Bar (with Brendon P - Zouk, Singapore), Liquid Room, De Basic, Club Monaco, De ja vu Bali, Dizzy lounge, JK7, Amsterdam café Bandung, TRL Bar Bandung, Macphisto Bandung, Lafontaine, New Tanamur, West Pacific, Q sports Bar, Melt, J-Lounge, Forbiden citi , Nouvelle Vague concert after party at Grand Kemang, Public, Vertigo (with DJ Minti - Germany), Black Pearl to name a few.



MIKE WOWOR:
Michael ben syura sondia wowor or prefer known as Dj. Mike Wowor started his career as a Dj. in 2003. The reason he became a Dj because music is his life, he love music very much. Thats why he wants to learn more and try to create his own music. At the beginning of his career he tried to play several music genre such as house and techno, which leads him now to genre that he played, tech-house.
And since 19 April 2008 he decided to join basement house, because one of his big inspiration from local Dj's is Dj Ical, that also known as one of the founder of Basement House. Beside that his music is also influenced by several international Dj's such as Brett Johnson, Fest Eddi Smith, and last but not least Lauhus. His mission is to make more people know and like tech-house. For additional, His family is the biggest support in his career.
