   Founded in 2003 as a partnership between Juno Adhi and Rayendra Sunito, with a vision to create a music production house that focuses on production standard, musicianship and artistic integrity.
   During the production of pilot project "parkdrive", the company completed various mini-projects & corporate jingles to ensure sustainable growth (OST. Cinta Silver, Nichols & Edwards Dept. Store, Investor Daily Newspaper, Microsoft Windows).
   Over 7 years, Gowa's line of business have expanded into talent management, organizing live acts for prestigious music festivals and corporate events (Java Jazz International, Urban Fest, Heineken, Philip Morris, BAT, Nokia, Toyota, Unilever etc.).
   Along with the completion and official release of acid-jazz pioneer Parkdrive, the company was incorporated and registered as PT. Gowa Music Indonesia in 2005, adding on Anggra Basjah as one of the shareholders.
   In 2006, License deal with Norwegian partner daWorks AS was secured, to release smooth-jazz phenomenon "D'Sound" catalogue for national distribution in both physical and new media formats.
   "Parkdrive Repackaged" was then released in the same year through joint venture agreement with Universal Music Indonesia for national distribution.
   After expanding networks within the industry, the company signed two new artists for production and management, Neo-soul act "Soulvibe" & Rock Trio "Adrian Martadinata".
   2008 reflected a milestone year for the company, successfully bringing in Norwegian band D'Sound for three shows in Indonesia, acquiring an international show for Parkdrive (Kuala Lumpur), and two major releases scheduled for the first and third quarter (Soulvibe - Self-Titled & Adrian Martadinata - Cerita Kita).
   Now in 2010 Gowa music focuses its efforts on electronic and dance music. Adding to its roster DJs jackin' house Maliki, Soulful House Ade Ferdian, Deep House Deefo and MC Drwe. Be on the lookout for our latest original releases!

MALIKI

For 5 Years, Maliki has been firing up decks and burning down dance floors across Indonesia with his distinctive style of spinning, and variety collection of quality house music. From massive festivals, mainstream clubs, private gatherings, all the way to down underground parties, Maliki never fails to steal the scene with his performance.

The True House-Head didn't take long to pick up the skills and develop his own style, since he first got on the set back in '04. "DJ-ing came very natural straight away, and I just can't get enough ever since!" Maliki adds.

Highly influenced by World-Class-House-Gurus like Chuck Love, Miguel Migs, Kaskade, Grant Nelson and Jakarta's own Anton Wirjono, all the way to the more digitally based Maestros; the likes of Groove Armada, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk, Maliki has emerged as a local gem, fluent in a wide range of Genres.

Now joining forces with Gowa Music, one of Indonesia's leading independent Production/Management house, Maliki sets out to continue his Musical journey by putting his foot in the world of production, and dedicating his set on a new found love: Soulful & Jackin' House. DEEFO

Deefo has kept his desire to become a dj since he was in high school. Inspired by well known Dj's such as Sasha, Justin Martin, Funk D'void and Spirit Catcher Deefo finaly come to a decision to learn more about Disc Jockeying after he finished his High School.

His optimism and ambition is soaring up when he became 2nd Winner in Pionner Pro DJ Battle (club mix) 2006, JUICE DJ QUEST CHAMPION 2008, 2nd Runner up JUICE DJ QUEST ASIA, Paranoia ROOKIE DJ OF THE YEAR 2008.

Today, DJ Deefo is ready to rich the DJ's world with his music, mixing and producing affected them his lust of DJ, influenced them through  his passion of DJ and to entertain all the clubbers and party goers through his dreams, his ambitions, and most of all...through his talents!!!


MC DRWE

Andreas Sumasdi a.k.a MC drwe started his career by joining one of R&B party finest E.O, Stylophonic which is based in Jakarta in November 2005. After joining Stylophonic, he has shown his love for R&B Music by MC-ing in its every single event held. Since Stylophonic is a division in a larger Party Organizer, 1945 Music Factory, which is led by DJ Romy and DJ Dade (Indonesian First line Up DJs), MC drwe became one of the member in 1945 MF family. 1945MF is also supported by many other House Music DJs joined in it that is spread out in major cities of Indonesia; Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Jogjakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Peru.

At the tender age of 20, he has heightened and energized in many party scenes held by both Stylophonic and 1945 MF in best clubs of Jakarta, Bandung, Bali, Surabaya, Menado, and Makasar. With his unique, attractive and soulful performance, watch out for this fresh MC on the mic, bringing new excitement, hype, and transcending the crowds' energy to a climax of pumping the roof and uplifting floor filters through his vocals and taking the MC industry to a higher next level. Currently, he is a radio broadcaster of Hardrock FM's Paranoia. Together with the family of Stylophonic, 1945 MF, and Paranoia, he will show more of his existence in the dance music industry.


ADE FERDIAN

First acknowledged as Los Angeles based DJ all the way across the globe from his native Indonesia, Ade Ferdian returned back to his hometown Jakarta in 2004 on a mission to share his love of Groovin Dance Music. Characterized by his distinctive soulful style, he quickly established him self through co-founding his own Jakarta based production, Adroitz Music.

While in LA, Ade had been regularly featured at some of the most recognized clubs and parties throughout Hollywood and played alongside some of the biggest name in the industry such as Miguel Migs, Kaskade & Jay-J to name a few. Since then, He is now among the regular faces to be featured at some of the respected clubs in Jakarta & Bandung. 

Through Adroitz Music, Ade is known as one of the people whose created the signature and truly one of a kind SUNDAZE party that has become an Icon among Jakarta's party scenes. He has established his presence & earned respect from some of the key international figures in today's dance scenes namely Richard Earnshaw (Duffnote, UK), Aaron Ross (Defected & Strictly Rhythm, UK), Chuck Love (OM, San Francisco), Alix Alvarez (Sole Channel, NYC), Groove Assassin (mn2s, London) and Yass (Defected, Paris) as the pioneer of "House Music" movement in Indonesia.

Recently added to his impressive resume is his music production skill - having done remixes, written and produced tracks for locally acclaimed musicians around town. His presence represents the rebirth of today's popularity of "House Music" in Jakarta. His presence has also awakened the true dance community in a refreshing yet appealing way. His signature sounds have stolen the hearts of thousands of his loyal crowds and will continue to spread the vibe........the love of Dance Music.
