Phynn's (NL) young career already has brought him quite a few achievements. Branded by Mixmag as Future Hero for 2006, his hit-record Lucid was one of the highlights on Tiësto's first "In Concert" and Phynn's latest tour through Norway was groundbreaking for the national dance scene. In the last years he has made a solid ground for future achievements, as a dj as well as a producer of upfront electronic dance music.
Phynn has been involved with music from a young age; learning to play several musical instruments in his early years, he still uses this experience to evolve his personal sound. His participation in a remix contest in 2002 was the beginning of an ever growing list of superb productions, ranging from his remix of Dj Ernesto's Stop 9.5 to his latest release Close Encounter and the theme of the Oslo Summer Parade. Phynn's tracks are always original, upfront, high quality and most of all very recognizable.
Now exclusively signed to Black Hole Recordings, Phynn's tracks are widely supported by the worlds leading dj's such as label owner Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and Judge Jules.
Phynn's abilities are not limited to producing; he is also a skilled dj with experience performing for crowds all over the world.
Phynn has played at many festivals and clubs such as Godskitchen's Sundance Festival in Canada, ID&T's Tomorrowland in Belgium, Magik Muzik Night at Heineken Music Hall in Holland, Revolution at the Arena Hall in Poland and Inside Out in Scotland.
At these gigs he has performed with dj superstars such as Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Mauro Picotto, Paul Oakenfold, Johan Gielen and Deep Dish.
His impressive dj sets have led Black Hole Recordings to ask him to mix the latest edition of the highly acclaimed 'In Trance We Trust' mix album series in 2006.
For 2007, Phynn has definitely raised the bar high. With his new artist album in the works, Phynn will take a new approach to electronic dance music as a dj and producer.
