A wind of change is blowing through the electronic music landscape. Trance has developed over the last decade, branching out into different styles. New artists are appealing to a whole new generation and the pioneers have also conquered new grounds. After ten years at the forefront, Trance Energy enters a new era: ENERGY.
To cater for diversity and renewal, a simple change of name is inevitable. Under a new monnicker, the course will be set for the next ten years–without making too many musical sacrifices. Together with the artists of today, ENERGY is paving the way for the music of tomorrow.
The first edition takes place on Saturday February 19th in Utrecht's Jaarbeurs. This night happens to be an extraordinary experiment. Making use of today's interactive possibilities, the experience is lifted to a higher level. Before, during and after the event, the 'Connect Execute Play' principle is introduced, presenting a revolutionary way of partying.

We have only conducted a name change, in order to stay in line with the ever evolving world of trance music. It's events, it's artist, it's music... We are entering a new time frame where trance as we know it still the number one music genre, but it has been experimenting with a younger generation which we will try and honour. Energy | The Network will stay an all trance event, and we hope to please you as we reveil the line-up in a few weeks." 

With a line up of international artists from over nine countries, Trance Energy enters a new era as Energy on Saturday, February 19, 2011, in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. This year there will be three rooms: Connect, Execute, and Play.
