The Prodigy - The Greatest Dance Act of All Time

The Prodigy menempati posisi teratas di polling "The Greatest Dance Act of All Time" yang dilakukan oleh Mixmag. Grup elektronika dari inggriss ini mengalahkan duo house perancis, Daft Punk dan The Chemical Brothers.

Polling ini dilaksanakan mulai 12 September sampai 23 Desember 2011 oleh Mixmag, majalah EDM terbesar dunia yang bermarkas di Inggris. The Prodigy bersaing dengan hampir 100 Dance Act terbaik dunia yang pollingnya dilakukan di facebook page Mixmag.

Puluhan ribu suara masuk dalam voting ini dan menghasilkan posisi pertama dimiliki oleh Prodigy yang menang tipis dari Daft Punk di posisi kedua.

Keith Flint, vokalisnya berkomentar: "To walk off a stage and feel like we smashed it – that's the reward for us, to see the crowd react and know we've done what we've come to do. But something like this is truly voted for by the people – and essentially we are nothing without them, so it feels awesome, and really respectful."

Anggota lain, Liam Howlett: "I'd like to think it's because we kept it real man, because we always do our own thing and try our hardest. Mixmag is the magazine. It's what everyone looks to. It's been around ever since we've been around, too, so it must be doing something right."

gua setuju dengan prodigy jadi yang pertama, soalnya mereka full package, ada dj, vokalis dan yang tidak ada di band lain mungkin adalah dancer, hehehe...
