MIAMI WMC 2006 DATES CONFIRMED

The dates for the electronic music industry's biggest annual gathering have been confirmed for 2006. The official WMC event will run 24-28 March. As usual though, a large percentage of the dance music industry converging on Miami at that time won't actually get to the Winter Music Conference.

Industry members representing record labels, promoters, club owners, DJs and Producer that go to Miami during the week of WMC usually mix business and pleasure - though the focus is clearly on partying and catching up with friends from the industry.

In addition to the original conference known as the Winter Music Conference, there are other industry and DJ focussed events such as quickly expanding M3 event. The real focus of the WMC week however are the hundreds of parties taking place at local clubs, on boats, rooftops and everywhere else imaginable. The biggest event each year is the Ultra Festival - the most well attended electronic music festival in America.
