Superclubs and big names for the Singapore Grand Prix

The Singapore Grand Prix is reaching its fourth year (at least as a Formula One event), and a great line up of dance acts has been announced to perform at the event and the race week.

One of the big events of the festival will be the opening of a super club in the Marina Bay Sands resort - the resort was developed by Las Vegas Sands on the southern side of Marina Bay. The club is called Avalon and looks like an enormous gemstone floating in the waters of the bay, it is being run by Steve Adelman an internationally famous US club guru.

Most importantly for all clubber, ravers and lovers of dance music, are the names appearing at the club and at other venues over the whole Grand Prix race week. This is definitely a week when you'll want to put your game at es.partypoker.com or your favourite DVDs on hold and get out and party. Last year The Chemical Brothers played at the event and they are back again this year - great news for all fans of seriously stomping big beat action.

Another few faces from Europe that are set to be putting on shows are the ever cool Kruder & Dorfmeister from Austria who have now been in the business for 16 years and Digitalism from Germany. Italian house DJ and producer Benny Benassi will be mixing it up for the delight of the ravers. And for those of a more 'hip hopular' persuasion, LMFAO will be also playing, as well as Ludacris.

The Colombian superstar Shakira will be singing and swaying her alluring hips and fans of Nu Metal will be please to hear that Linkin Park are set to rock out as well. The Grand Prix might be a car race, but it looks like there is plenty of music, especially dance music to interest the fans.
