Raised on the small secluded Dutch island of Texel, Gabriel's childhood was anything but ordinary. At the young age of 13," Gabriel was asked by his best friend to help host a program at the only pirate station that was around on the island at the time. Soon he discovered that not only did he have a passion for listening to good music and playing instruments," but also for playing records to other people.

At 16 years of age Gabriel was subsequently picked up as a resident Dj for one of the two clubs that were on the island at the time.. playing every saturday for up to 600 people. Two years later however," he decided it was time for bigger and better things and moved to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam not knowing that his music career would be so influenced by this move, especially in such a short space of time!.
It was in Amsterdam amidst the blossoming house scene," pioneered by the then still relatively unknown Sander Kleinenberg and DJ Remy, that he would meet the people that would help shape his career and take it to the next level, Reinier Koolmees and Rob Spezeri, whom had at the time just started the now globally renowned online music magazine website Xpander.nl (www.xpander.nl / now www.365mag.com). Not before long he was also interviewing the stars of the global dance scene. Such as Pete Gooding," Steve Lawler," Luke Fair," Steve Porter as well as many others.
Now whenever he travels the globe he acts as an ambassador for 365mag.com and also represents them oficially as a DJ,"
Over the years that gabriel has been playing records he has rubbed shoulders with some of the best dj's in the buisnuiss including," king unique," paolo mojo," tiesto," cass," inland knights," lucien foort," astroglyde," funk d'void," steve gerrard and dj demi.. amongst many others!!.

Ask Gabriel about the people that most influenced and helped shape his career then he would mention such names such as Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, Desyn Masiello," Dj Dimitri and DJ Remy (two of the house godfathers of Holland).

From listening to all of these DJs, Gabriel has managed to create and craft his own unique style of playing that has already earned him international DJ slots at such a young age in America," Sweden," England," Israel," Latvia," Russia," Panama," mexico," Brazil," Argentina," peru," uruguay and many more where he all headlined gigs...

Look out for this young-upcoming talent in a club near you in 2007," and also his new radio-project "the playsessions"... which is going to be a monthly feature on mercuryserver which he will host and bring all the best and biggest names in electronic music to play.

For just past 30 minutes before the show start, i was contacted by the operator of SENSE.fm.

Due to some communication error with the Radio. Putera Global Sessions 006 - Bobby Suryadi with Guestmix: Gabriel Voorbeytel (365MAG) will be postpone to the next session of the radioshow.

On behalf of SENSE.FM & as the radio manager of Putera Global Sessions, I would like make an apology for the inconvenient. Is a promise for more organize for the future Schedule and Information.
