Quiksilver Open
June 17th and 18th the Quiksilver Open will be held at Cimaja Beach, in Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java. This event will be the second on the Indonesian Surfing Championship (ISC) calendar and is sure to be an explosive show of power surfing as IndonesiaÂ's professional surfers battle it out in the only surf comp held in Java as part of the ISC.
The Quiksilver Open has recently been upgraded from a 4 star event to a 6 star event meaning that there is more at stake for the competitors in competition points and prize money.

Roxy Jam
Also on June 18 Roxy will hold a womanÂ's surfing competition at Cimaja Beach, the Roxy Jam Surf Contest. This will be the second time the event has been held and Quiksilver says it sees a big future for female surfing in Indonesia and endeavors to promote the sport whenever possible. They will be giving optional surf lessons to all attending girls.
