Hey,

I've been getting quite a few hits from these forums on my personal website, so I thought I would pop over and introduce myself properly.

My name is Tom and I produce, perform and teach under the name Tom Cosm. I am from New Zealand but live in Australia at the moment. I've been using Ableton live solely for the last 4 years or so, and have done a few tours around the globe both performing and doing Ableton endorsed workshops.

A large part of my philosophy on music is that I give all my music and secrets away for free as I feel creativity or the appreciation of art shouldn't be something that is kept secret as there is a lot of fun stuff to be explored.

My personal website contains all my music, Ableton live ready downloads and in depth tutorial videos.

My two latest large projects are

[b}The Megaset[/b] - A download able Ableton Live file which is an exact copy of the live set I use when I play out. It includes ways to transition between tunes, complex audio effects routing, utilizing scenes and using dummy clips to create advanced automation. http://www.cosm.co.nz/megaset

Introduction to Live Performance video - This is a tutorial video I am making from scratch, documenting the entire process I go through when I create a tune, explaining everything as I go. I am feeding these to you tube 10 minutes per week, you can check them out at http://www.youtube.com/cosmcosm

If you are interested in my music, here is a direct link to my latest live set recording

Wicked! Glad to be part of a good thriving community

Cheers

Welcome to this board Tom :D

I'm the one who post the link to your site, glad you don't mind. I'm on livepa.org too. We have a dedicated sub-forum for Ableton Live discussion since lots of Ableton users are here, so i reckon your tutorials would be useful.

Hope to see you perform in Indonesia someday. Cheers mate!
