wuih seru n panas y neh topik..... ikutan dunk guys, cm mau ngasih tau emg gw ud ketemu semua yg udah disebutin diatas.... tapi gw sering juga n nemuin sampe sekarang banyak dj2 baru yg suka idealis berlebihan, contohny, SAY NO 2 FUNKOT, musik dangdut, sampah bla bla bla.... trus ada juga yg SAY NO 2 TRIBAL, musiknya kayak musik tarzan lah, kebanyakan perkusi lah bla bla bla..... n mc byk yg lainny.... tapi ud gitu gw bingung guys, wktu gw tanya bassline, ga ngerti, gw tanya ketukan ga ngerti, gw tanya one shot, string, chords, pad, arpeggio, sequencer, etc malah tambah bingung...... wew ternyata dibalik semua komentar2nya yg seakan2 ngerti banget tentang lagu, BULLS**T doank.... jangankan remix, ngedj aj gw rasa modal pas2an.... tapi komentarnya seakan2 dy itu musisi.... dude.... what a f**kin assh**e....
Gw cuma mau nyampein ke smua org2 yg kyk gitu, kalo emg ga suka sama satu genre sebaiknya diem aj ga usah menjelek2kan genre yg padahal dy sendiripun ga paham dgn genreny sendiri.....

Cheers,

F1N DJ

wah gw setuju banget sih sama lo soal jangan idealis berlebihan.....harus buka telinga juga sama semua musik.....dance musik aja tuh udah luas banget hehehe....

tapi sorry sob.....soal funkot.....honestly speaking itu emang sampah.......merusak electronic dance music......dan scene sini susah maju pesat kalau itu masih dipertahankan hehe....no offense ya....

kalo dangdut ?? wah itu bukan sampah, itu local heritage man.....u have to be proud and respect that....tapi funkot kan bukan dangdut hehehe.....

piss

satu pemikiran kita cil...:)
funkot/tung-tung kl bisa jgn sampe ada festival angkot eh funkot deh di indo !!!!!

The 'History' EP, delivers four tracks produced by Ian Van Boorn and gives a taster of what to expect as 154 enters the dance arena. With four tracks; the tougher, uplifting sound of 'History', the hook-laden, driving sound of 'All Of Me', the hypnotic groove of 'Higher Lows' and the deeper, riff-driven 'Tribia', this is an EP that makes a true statement of intent.

The sound of 154 Records is difficult to categorise; pulsing tribal beats, yet soaked with the emotion of trance; distorted electro sounds immersed in twisted grooves, this is the sound of old skool progressive but with a modern slant; the nu skool progressive.

bravo...bravooo :)

That's a proper relentlessly stripped twisted techno mix some people can call it house or proggy or something, overall this one is a techy roots .

 8)

I can't get it out of me
It's breathing Inside me
It's reaching inside of you
You're feeling infected
You're being infected
It's just like the cold
A kiss on your lips
Now you're taking control

I feel like a criminal
I'm falling apart
We're leaving for Venus
In a getaway car
Cause no one can save us
There's no need to try
I'm looking for saviors before they all die

If you want to try and save me
Then take my heart don't hate me
If you feel you can't let go, let go (2x)

I feel like a criminal
I'm falling apart
We're leaving for Venus
In a getaway car
You say that you haunt me
but you don't really know
You're clinging to fingers
But you got to let go

If you want to try and save me
Then take my heart don't hate me
If you feel you can't let go, let go (3x)

Almost 7 years after the first beat was broadcast, friskyRadio has grown into a global Internet Radio powerhouse that is home to over 200 resident DJs from all over the world ranging from emerging talent to industry veterans broadcasting to over 126 countries and thousands of listeners every day...friskyRecords will continue the journey in bringing you the best that electronic music has to offer.

Global Internet Radio powerhouse friskyRadio is proud to announce the launch of its new label imprint friskyRecords. Forming a symbiotic relationship between radio and label properties, frisky has recruited its own resident DJ and international superstar Pole Folder (AKA Belgium's Benoit Franquet) to helm the flagship mix CD release Destinations.

As a title for this CD, Destinations works on a number of levels. The most obvious connection being that Destinations is the name of Pole Folder's own radio show which airs only on friskyRadio every second Thursday of each month. Each show is recorded live in clubs from destinations all over the world and offers a true account of Pole Folder's current DJ sets. The title also reflects how much Pole Folder has experienced as both a DJ and electronic music fan in many destinations around the world. Memories like discovering Sasha and John Digweed's Northern Exposure for the first time provided Pole Folder with a feeling that many of us will relate to and never want to lose.

The last time we heard Pole Folder on CD, it was in the role of a producer. His debut artist album Zero Gold was released in 2005 on John Digweed's Bedrock label and it garnered acclaim with journalists and fans alike. Fast forward almost three years later and Destinations provides a vehicle for Pole Folder to showcase his skills as DJ for the first time ever on CD. Crafted much like his radio show of the same name, Destinations offers a true and up to the minute representation of the global progressive house scene. Given complete artist control over the project, Pole Folder pairs his own "Eastern Lagoon" with tracks from the likes of Leon Bolier, Kevin Yost, Andy Moor & Michael Wilson, Henry Cullen, Deep Mariano, DJ Yellow & Astrid Suryante, Spektre and Tiger Stripes, among others.

Frisky Radio was launched in 2001 when streaming media engineer and dance music aficionado Faisal Sultan (fondly referred to by friends and colleagues as "Frisky") started broadcasting DJ Mixes he was listening to online. Realising that friskyRadio could be a vehicle for the struggling bedroom DJ to reach a potentially global audience, he opened the stream up to submissions and started playing mixes from DJs residing all over the world. Over the years, Faisal has continually maintained friskyRadio in his own free time, and with the generous donations from fans all over the world he has been able to grow the radio station into one of the top-most listened to stations for underground electronic music on the web.

Today, almost 7 years after the first beat was broadcast, friskyRadio has grown into into a global Internet Radio powerhouse that is home to over 200 resident DJs from all over the world ranging from emerging talent to industry veterans broadcasting to over 126 countries and thousands of listeners every day. The "Get Frisky!" brand of parties bring this passion for the music to the dance floor in cities like Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Budapest, Osaka, Vienna, and even Aruba, making it a truly global phenomenon.

Pole Folder is going to be like an old school DJ's and Producer which throw eclectic style of music in every Occasion.
