Ben Nicky has fast established himself as one of the leaders of a new generation of DJs and producers to emerge out of the UK. A highly respected producer, his tunes and remixes find themselves in the playlists of the worlds biggest and best DJs, whilst his talents as an accomplished DJ and performer see him tour all four corners of the globe.

2011 saw Ben enter DJ Magazines' Top DJs poll at number 150 in the world, whilst being voted at number 24 in the Tranceaddict 2011 poll - a testament to his ever increasing popularity with dance music fans the world over. This popularity was further enhanced in 2012 when DJ Mag invited Ben to select his top 10 tracks for their February edition. Other leading dance music publication 'Mixmag' also picked him out for their 'Keep An Eye On' feature in the March edition - high praise indeed!!

Early 2012 will now see Ben return to AVA recordings, where he has released some of his biggest and best material, including the massively supported collaboration with trance legend M.I.K.E. entitled "Spring Break" and Bens'
own "Lifeline". April 2012 brings an exciting collaboration between Ben and rising trance producer Tom Fall entitled 'Hammer', as well as the start of the production work for the long awaited follow up to the massive vocal smash 'The One' featuring vocal superstar Cassandra Fox.

Ben has a strong production history and back catalogue including titles such
as: "Driven" , "Special Moment", "Tears", "Jet Stream", "Altitude" and "Rattle", alongside remixes for artists including: Calvin Harris, First State and Giuseppe Ottaviani. Labels like Vandit, Monster, Armada and Black Hole have all released product from Ben, whilst he was recently described by Armin Van Buuren as "one of the hardest working artists in the trance scene". His bootlegs and mashups have become firm favourites in the DJ sets of artists including Armin, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor, Judge Jules and many many more.

Belfast-born Greg began DJing over six years ago, Greg developed a taste for electronic dance music from a young age and this is reflected in his unique style, which combines underground and uplifting trance with elements of techno. This is all rolled into an explosive performance, which sees him using 3 CDJs, Serato Scratch Live, Pioneer DJM 800 and EFX 1000 to devastating effect.

After entering TOP100 DJ in 2009, following year in 2010 and 2011 has been Greg's most prolific year to date as a producer. Chosen by world number 9 Gareth Emery as his best of British, his track Global Code on Vandit has been one of the biggest tracks this year featuring in every Paul van Dyk set for the last 10 months and was number 1 in Trackitdown. His next single for Dutch heavy weights Spinnin was number 1 on Trackitdown and number 2 on Beatport. Then came his huge remix of Everything But The Girl - Missing, it has clocked up over 60,000 hits on youtube with massive support from all the A-list DJs. Greg recently teamed up with The lead singer from Mansun, Paul Draper to remake their classic track Wide Open Space. This has been one of the tracks of the year, crossing over onto daytime Radio One with support from Scott Mills and Vernon Kay, something not many trance DJs have achieved in a lifetime. It was also chosen by Mixmag as their tune of the month for July and predicted to be the track of the summer. Greg's latest single Send The Gods on Spinnin is setting clubs alight around the world and storming its way up the charts.

As a producer it is clear to see , release by release Greg is one of the brightest talents out there. Supported regularly by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiesto ,Armin van Buuren, John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Sander van Doorn, Above and Beyond and many more, Greg's many achievements, alongside his outstanding technical ability will ensure he reaches great heights.

Back by demand and in collaboration with the international dance music label FENology Records, global dance music brand HeavensGate, Music Conference ASIA presents a lifetime opportunity to remix the legendary dance track "HEAVENLY" by Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Woody Van Eyden featuring Kate Peters.

Winner of the contest will earn global recognition with the winning remixes being released under FENology Records worldwide, terms and conditions apply.

Contest Overview

Contest period falls between 1st December 2011 to 15th January 2012 and opens to producers and budding talents of the WORLD, age 18 and above only. To participate:

1. REGISTER at www.visitmcasia.com. (A minimal registration fee of RM8 apply)
2. Download the remix contest pack and work on your remix.
3. Submit your completed remix by logging on to your contest account and upload the file, or submit the URL of the file.
4. All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on 15th January 2012. (GMT +8:00)
5. Showcasing or sharing of entries with the public and/or the other contestants, through any means of communications, prior to the official result announcement is prohibited.

Judging period will begin on 16th January 2011, results will be announced latest in February 2012. All decisions are final and no appeal or correspondence will be entertained.
