BT is big this year. But after seeing the photots from the Guvernment when they played last weekend I'm very tempted to go watch Blank & Jones. TEMPTING. f.o.c.k.

I can't say this all in Indo so ill say it in English :) OKe boss? :)  ;D

SO HERES THE DILEMMA: Next weekend will be crazy. On friday Blank & jones are playing at Embassy and the following day Marco V will be dropping a bombshell at Vertigo here in Jakarta. BUT now BT is playing at the Heineken Thirst Finals dance festival on the coast here in Jakarta on the same night as Blank & Jones are playing at Embassy. Although I'm not a big fan of BT's original music, I want to see him "perform" live (he's using his laptop and synthesizers and crap to play live) and it would be fun but then I also want to see Blank & Jones.

Which one to go to? Blank & Jones or BT? Who's seen them both and can compare...?

Dilemma: Blank & Jones vs. BT. FUCK. BT's new album = AMAZING (but can't dance to it).

Blank & Jones = AMAZING.

FUCK.

A great crowd is a crowd which respect both the music and the DJ.
A great crowd respects the music that is played even when not under the influence of anything.
A great crowd cheers the DJ to encourage him to play amazing music.
A great crowd does not go to a rave just do do drugs and enjoy themselves, they go to have a great time and maybe once in while spice it up with the special someone in the form of a..... ::)
A great crowd dances to the music and not to the drug.
A great crowd strives to keep the vibe to near perfection by "dancing in the moonlight, waiting for the sunrise"
A great crowd has great connection with eachother.

A great crowd is what you see when you go to ancol for a dance festivel.

Respect to the indonesian rave community!!! ada lagi?

haha??? I appreciate that you think that my communications skills in English are very fluent... & copy paste? no way dude!! I understand the basics of indonesian (slightly of the slang) - i am not fully indonesian and lived in another country for most of my life - so i guess most of the times what is written with my basic foundation of indo (I'm Lovin' It)...therefore I prefer to reply in English! plus its not my fault that Tiesto's mixing was that good in his new album!!!

P.S. right back at you bonsaikitty  8) copy paste this and show you're friends that you can speak english ;D

The mixing in some of his songs in his new mix-album (In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles) is poor and that emphasizes that he's not number 1 anymore. Armin Van Buuren should be number 1 as his mixing abilities are amazing and the music he chooses to play and put on mixes (A State of Trance radio shows) are pure magical..... I first heard Tracking Treasure Down and the amazing euphoric track of Bali by Bakke & Ljungqvist on that show and I respect it so much!   ::)

Vin..... best wine and for the cheapest price.. nice and small place in Kemang where you can enjoy cheap drinks with mates in a small place...The bar is at the back of the duty-free shop and the vibe is awesome + small.

After that the cheapest place to go before going club-hopping is...................rumah saya  ::) ::) ::) :o :o :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Its a good place to be.. but like with all other places the prices will eventually become so expensive that only the high-spending people go there and it will loose its general vibe attraction. Example: tequila shot may be 10 thou somewhere.. in a few months it will be up to 20-30,000.

Progressive Trance and Trance generally... beats out all the other shitty genres :):) haha

Now i would like to see Armin Van Buuren come, Ferry Corsten, Deep Dish, Benny Benassi or Benassi Bros, and defintately i want Gabriel and Dresden to return with the amazing set they played last time :) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) :-* :-* :-*

For some strange reason: the Gabriel & Dresden rave was better then Tiestos. I acknowledge that Tiesto was amazing but Gabriel & Dresden had a completely different vibe... Truly amazing experience to see them playing all my favourite songs jammed into one set, especially My Blue Heart!

I think i am DJ kentut------> codename for swallowing that something special and enjoying the sensation white for 4 hours straight while mixing the juice up, stiffin the music and enjoying the musical vibes that fly past your inner lobe of the ear to cause the vibrations.

TERMIA KASIH DONG.

Diary entry extracted by Tiesto himself from Tiesto's website: http://www.tiesto.com

"Last but not least, I went to Indonesia, a country that used to be high on my wish list to play! So, first we went to Bali. We visited the elephant temple, Sugar Agung (a very famous local percussionist) and did lots of sight seeing, shopping (again) and sunbathing! In every shop, its manager came up to me and told me to take as much as me and my crew wanted...for free! Tourism in Bali got hit hard after the terrorist attacks. It is a shame because it's such a beautiful island and the people are so nice.

The gig at Double Six was great but there were hardly any Indonesians! It was a place packed with Europeans and Australians. Nothing wrong with that of course but I didn't expected that in Bali. Next day my show in Yogjakarta was cancelled due to heavy rain and thunderstorms. I was supposed to play on the beach in the open air and that was just impossible due to this weather. This was definitely the biggest disappointment of the tour.

Next day in the morning we flew to Jakarta for what would be the biggest show of the tour. Save the best for last, that's what my management must have thought! At the press conference there were already more then a hundred journalists and that night 28,000 people showed up for the show. All I can say is: WOUW!! What an amazing crowd that was! The production was great and the sound system was the best one of the Asian tour. This was definitely my personal favorite gig of the Asian tour but as you can read those were all very good experiences.

I haven't told you everything in total detail because then I can write a whole book just about this tour! But I hope you have an idea about what I experienced here in Asia.

I want to thank all the people who came to the shows, all the promoters and everybody else who helped to make this tour so successful. I hope we can do it again soon. I will never forget this tour in my life!!

Love,
Tiƫsto"

Comment from myself: Tiesto is dead right. Jakarta has the best crowd in Asia! But too much drugs and thefts.

Morale of the story: DON'T DO DRUGS.

If you go to rave just to pop e then stay home and watch porn instead of pretending to enjoy the music. Much more visual graphics and gives you nearly as good feeling. BUT only 4 hours shorter.  8)

BTW. Carlsberg I love you. Elephant Carlsberg ---> I'll find you b****.

Just downlaod the album and see for yourself... not as good as the previous tiesto back in the Magik Journey dayz... ah i loved those but the new album is still good.

P.S. Free albums were given out at the Miama Winter Conference and i got my hand on it through a friend ;)  ::)  :P  :P   :P  :o  ;D

The DJ was amazing and everything was good ONCE INSIDE...
HOWEVER, there were people who could afford the ticket there and still be ******* losers enough to attempt to steal or successfully steal or be caught red handed pocket thiefing. Get a ****** life.
The organizing was absolutely down-right poor ****, should have stayed at home and watched the FA cup was it not for Tiesto performing - Gabriel & Dresden were much better even though not as big as the man himself.

But again, emphasis on the musc that was played and the visuals were amazing... Respect to Chris Pontius for the visuals on the indonesian dancers and the beach in Bali... Tiesto like usual played amazing tunes, Alex Stealthy - Something is Wrong, Macet, Love comes again, lethal industry, flight 643, Just be, Athena, Forever Today [RESPECT TO THE INDO FLAG], Victorious,  Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party, Ozgur Can - Irony, Jonas Steur - Second Turn [Ultimate euphoria right there baby], Aspekt - Hi-Jack (instrumental mix), Tom Cloud - Told You So, Parker and Hanson - Let Me Be, Matthew Dekay VS Proluctors - Let the Games Begin, Way out West - Don't Forget Me (Guy Ehmetores Remix) - classic anthem - [BLEW MY MIND AWAY WITH THE FIREWORKS AT THE END!!] etc....

Keep up the good work Tiesto, and forget about the Tiesto-haters out there and keep DJing.
