It's not always easy for an adjunct faculty member to face up to the truth that the economic conditions result from continuing to teach in a few physical college classrooms are becoming worse every semester. It is, of course, understandable since earning a graduate degree, a master's degree or Ph.D., requires enormous intellectual effort and cost a pretty penny to boot. However, it is inescapable that the pay for teaching on an adjunct basis on a traditional post-secondary college, university or community college campus is increasing at all.
