"DAWAI DAMAI"

Diawali dengan mengusung Dance Music dengan kepiawan beberapa personil sebagai Disc Jockey, kemudian mem-produseri lagu-lagu gaya electronic yang salah satunya cukup sukses di dance floor dan chart radio yaitu single "Disco Di Rumah". Di awal Juli 2007 nanti, Agrikulture akan meluncurkan debut albumnya yang bertajuk "Dawai Damai". Warna musik yang lebih melebar dengan tidak melupakan unsur electronic, diharapkan akan dapat dinikmati oleh segala lapisan bagi pencinta musik Indonesia.

Melalui single pertama Gosip dengan kolaborasi bersama Indra Aziz yang bermain saxophone, Agriluture ingin memperlihatkan warna dasar dari album Dawai Damai ini. Selain Indra Aziz yang tampil di lagu Gosip juga ada artis-artis lain seperti Tika,Edo Wallad, Mario Nicholas, dan Jason Tedjakusuma. Mereka juga memilih Darbotz dari Tembok Bomber untuk membuat artwork untuk album mereka.

Perubahan format bagi Agrikulture bukanlah sesuatu yang baru, berawal dari DJ Anton Wirjono dan DJ Aditya berdua, perubahan pertama adalah datangnya DJ Hogi (adik dari DJ Anton) dari San Francisco. Reputasi DJ Hogi sebagai produser yang karyanya cukup dikenal di dance scene San Francisco single buatannya masuk ke playlist DJ besar seperti Danny Howells.  Masuknya DJ Hogi membuat Agrikulture dengan cepat diakui oleh musisi lokal. Terutama reputasi besar DJ Anton Wirjono dan DJ Hogi sebagai DJ papan atas Jakarta membuat banyak musisi besar seperti Indra Lesmana,E-45, Syahrani, Maliq N d'Essential, Krisdayanti, Slank, Shanti dan Rita Effendy akhirnya berkolaborasi dengan Agrikulture untuk membuat versi remix dari lagu-lagu mereka. Penampilan mereka di event-event lokal besar seperti Konser Slank, Krisdayanti Show, Sound Adrenaline 2, Jakarta Movement, dan Astro Stage Assembly 2 di Java Jazz 2007. membuat mereka terpilih untuk tampil di Good Vibrations Festival 2007 di Singapura dan tampil bersama Beastie Boys dan Cut Copy. Konsep Agrikulture yang menggabungkan aksi Video Art Performance ke dalam konser mereka membuat image musisi Indonesia setaraf dengan band-band internasional. Lagu "Disko The Rumah" karya The Safari, yang di remix oleh Agrikulture sempat merajai chart radio lokal dan mendapatkan prestasi dengan meraih AMI Awards dan Ravelex REDMA (Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Awards) yang menominasikan lagu tersebut sebagai The Best Alternative dan Remix Of The Year 2007, penghargaan Best Live P.A   di  Paranoia Awards 2004 dan 2006 berhasil mereka dapatkan.



Kali ini perubahan terbaru di Agrikulture adalah adanya 2 personel baru yaitu Vokalis Fandy yang terkenal sebagai MC di acara Drum n Bass (Best MC untuk Paranoia award 2006) dan Gitaris Emil Pahlevi, penambahan format ini membuat peran DJ Hogi, DJ Aditya dan DJ Anton Wirjono sedikit bergeser. DJ Aditya yang berperan banyak di aransemen dan penulisan lagu sekarang bermain drum baik untuk rekaman maupun di panggung, tentu ini tidak masalah karena dia dulunya seorang Jazz Drummer,  DJ Hogi masih tetap di belakang Laptop dan Mixer. Sedangkan DJ Anton Wirjono lebih berada di belakang layar sebagai produser. Sedangkan Fandy dan Emil membawa nuansa baru ke musik Agrikulture  baik dalam lirik dan aransemen. Perubahan format ini membuat image mereka menjadi Electronic Band. Gabungan dari Playback dan Live Performance dan Video Art Performance .

Tanggal 7 bulan 07 dan tahun 2007 (7-7-7) adalah hari yang di pilih Agrikulture sebagai hari yang baik untuk meluncurkan album mereka, dengan di gabungkan pada acara regular Future10 yaitu Turn On Plastic, mereka memilih Embassy Club untuk acara launching album.

Album DAWAI DAMAI produksi FUTURE10 dan didistribusikan oleh PT. AQUARIUS MUSIKINDO ini, semoga dapat memberikan warna baru bagi Industri Musik Indonesia dan memberikan alternatif lain bagi pencinta musik.
