[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] Sekedar sharing aj, blakangan soalnya tiap kali ngebahas soal itung2an bar, gw pasti denger jawaban yg agak aneh (paling nggak menurut yg udah gw pelajarin selama ini)..
Kalau ditanya 1 bar itu berapa ketuk, gw akan jawab tergantung.. tergantung apa? tergantung time signaturenya.. Time signature itu misalnya 4/4 (ini yg paling umum), 3/4, 7/8, dll.. Time signature ini yang nunjukin di dalam 1 bar itu ada berapa ketuk.. Untuk time signature yang paling umum, 4/4, 1 bar berarti ada 4 ketuk, masing2 nilainya 1/4.. Berarti kalau ada beat kayak gini : Clap o o Kick o o o o Itungannya : 1 2 3 4 Nah, dari beberapa x gw ngobrol2, gw dapet jawaban 1 bar itu 8 ketuk.. Yang berarti kayak gini : Clap o o o o Kick o o o o o o o o Itungannya : 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Kalau ditanya ke musisi (misal drummer, gitaris dll) mereka pasti akan bilang beat diatas ini berarti 2 bar.. Or bisa juga 1 bar, tapi berarti time signaturenya 8/4, yang berarti ada 8 ketuk dalam 1 bar dengan nilai 1/4.. Time signature 8/4 ini nggak umum, malah kayaknya ga pernah digunakan.. Atau bisa juga 1 bar 8 ketuk dalam time signature 4/4, tapi tiap ketuknya nilainya 1/8.. Which means, you're counting double time.. Yang berarti tempo musik2 house yang harusnya 128 BPM, jadi 64 BPM (karena double time td), speed nya tetep sama, tapi secara teori, jadi 64 BPM.. So what do you think guys? #17

"wah thx.. ternyata si oom yang jawab... satu lagi pertanyaan.. mang bener yah katanya hasil EQing itu beda antara klo formatnya masi mentah ( midi + vst instrument / rewire ) sama klo dah dirender jadi WAVEform? klo iya kenapa tuh? kan spectrum sama sama ngebaca output suara bukan gambarnya?? apa jangan2 mang sequencer bajakan gw aja yang ndablek??? hehe.... nabung deh buat logic...." Kalo lo gmana? apa lo render dulu? Ini pengalaman gw juga sih, lagu2 lama gw (masih pake sistem bego, sample didrag masuk ke project, jd gw bner2 kerja pake wav smua, kecuali soft synthnya, masih midi aja) kok abis gw denger, drumsnya clarity ny lbh bagus, punch lbh ada, dll.. jauh bgt dh sm lagu2 gw yg trakhir.. How come? ad yg bisa jelasin? Ato vst gw yg ga gtu bgus (kyknya ga mungkin dh) gw pake battery 3 buat drums.. #21

Heavily influenced by DIPLO, beda versi sm yg dulu.. (Actually, gw ga terlalu suka yg dulu, synth yg dipake standar bgt..) Definitely needs some edits here and there, but I posted it anyway.. And guess what, durasi gw ngerjain lagu jd cpet bgt blakangan ini, cm gara2 gw buat template dulu.. (Very useful, apalagi buat software yg rada ribet kayak cubase) ini selesai 1.30 jam.. So i think it's a good tip for you cubase (or protools or logic, or whatever) user.. Make your own templates.. Cheers Guys, I'll do the edits, then mix and master it this morning.. #24
