hmm... nice topic... dari sby pingin ikut nimbrung, bole ya? 

soal regenerasi, buat kondisi di sby, dance scenenya sebenarnya sedang berkembang, beberapa club baru bermunculan... dj2 baru beregenerasi jg.. hm justru kendala disini adalah regenerasi crowd yg kurang..

Kenapa saya bilang regenerasi crowd kurang ? karena masing2 club di sby pun rata2 blm settle / stabil jumlah crowdnya ( gak tahu klo soal revenuenya ya ).. apalagi klo ad beberapa club udah bikin event besar barengan... crowdnya masih "tarik-tarikan" antar satu club dgn club yg lain... 

Solusinya :
saya & adri(bul2 79) dibantu beberapa teman udah bikin acara new generations setiap bulan, start bulan kemarin sebelum lebaran dan setelah lebaran ini akan bikin lagi vol. 2 nya.. dan disini bener2 no business, murni untuk sby dance scene... qta undang label2 dj yg mau support utk ngembangin dj2 barunya ( sebagai wadah mereka utk latihan mental tampil di depan publik + mereka yg baru kan msh semangat2nya jg buat ngundang temen2nya dan promosi ) dan yg terutama juga "meracuni" / mencari calon clubber2 baru + edukasi... hasilnya blm terlalu terasa kali ya... tp kami harap dgn komitmen & konsistensi bsa perlahan - lahan muncul bibit2 clubber baru jg... ( kok jd kaya bikin laporan evaluasi ya...  )

soal membanjirnya dj bule yg berdatangan ke indo, hal ini pun qta alami kok di sby... tp mgkn ga seextrim di jkt ya... terus yg qta lakuin adalah :ya udah nonton aj tuh dj bule buat studi banding jg...  .. tp ya crowd sby blm segitu jg sie "pinter"nya...  dj bule yg dtg pun blm tentu bisa rame jg seperti yg diharapkan... kendalanya apa ?? ya balik lg ke atas karena regenerasi clubbernya kurang

mungkin beberapa dr yg saya sampaikan tidak sama persis kondisinya dari masing2 kota... tp ya pastinya masing2 punya caranya sendiri utk mencari solusinya...

oiya soal support local DJ, saya kebetulan diberi kepercayaan utk arrange acara di salah satu club di sby, yg weekendnya qta selalu nampilin guest star : dj lokal dgn berbagai multilabel di sby... namanya club dimension...( bisa diliat tuh di thread sby event ) udah jalan dari maret lalu, ga tau setelah lebaran ini diperpanjang lg ato ga...  .. mudah2an jalan lg ya.. ( evaluasinya : dibilang sukses bgt jg ga, dibilang gagal jg ga, kendalanya apa ? sama jawabannya regenerasi crowdnya krg  dan crowd masih "tarik2an" td antar clubnya )

dari dulu gua selalu bertanya2 live act tuh masuk ke poll2an gini gak sih? kenapa gak pernah ada nama chembro, faithless, orbital, underworld, leftfield, etc gitu2 nembus top 10 or 20 ya kalo bisa ada infected mushroom di posisi 18 (dj mag, cmiiw)

Ranked 31 in the world (2009 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll), Lange is recognised as one of the most influential dance artists of the past decade. A DJ who has remained at the forefront of the scene throughout his career and a producer that continues to push all boundaries.

After an exhausting list of achievements, counting among them 20 UK top 40s, featuring on a film soundtrack, and remixing mainstream artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Lange remains one of the leading EDM producers. His modern day anthem "Out of the Sky" catapulted to the top of the trance charts, making him one of the top selling trance artists in 2008 and it still remains a 'never fails' track for djs and clubbers alike.

2009 has perhaps been one of his most prolific in recent times with a host of successful singles and remixes for the likes of Ferry Corsten and Above & Beyond. His summer co-write with Andy Moor, 'Stadium Four', received strong support from the Dj elite and debuted in Armin Van Buuren's 2009 Essential Mix. 'Let It All Out' is his follow up to 'Out of the Sky' with vocalist Sarah Howells; appearing week after week on both Armin's ASOT and Judge Jules' Radio 1 show as well as receiving across the board support from many others, it looks set to enjoy the success of its precursor. His latest release in 2009 is his retake of the massive classic, 'Happiness Happening'. His original remix entered the UK sales charts at no.18 in 1999 and is already topping the trance charts in 2009.

2008 saw Lange launch his Intercity radio show, growing quickly in popularity, it has already become one of the staple shows for trance fans despite its short life, owing its success to its charismatic host and notoriety for showcasing the most exciting new releases in trance and related genres. The show launched as a podcast in summer 2009 alongside 'Intercity: Summer 2009', the first in a continuing, and already highly acclaimed, compilation series. Also in 2009, Lange relaunched his Lange Recordings label which features new rising talent in the scene alongside his own work, and over the years has become well known for its high quality, successful releases.
