► about TONY HUMPHRIES
http://www.tonyrecords.net/

Tony Humphries has entertained dance music fans across the globe with his "Hump in the Homefries" brand of uptempo soul music. This Brooklyn, New York native landed his first "professional" DJ gig at Manhattan's posh Club El Morocco in 1975. From there Tony's trek to Boystown a.k.a. Club Tribeca NY, NY would prove successful, where he was then recognized as a talented DJ.
In July 1981, producer Shep Pettibone asked Tony for a mastermix show tape to fill in for a no show on his KISS-FM NY radio show. A vacancy left by Pettibone at the station opened the door for his own permanent mix show. Simultaneously, schooled under the "I'll leave you in the booth and see what happens" antics of resident DJ Larry Patterson of NJ's Club Zanzibar fame, resulted in him gaining "THE" residency in 1982.

Developing his creative experiences behind the recording studio's control board only enhanced his style and magic. Artists like Mtume (Tonys' first gold record "Juicy Fruit"), Chaka Khan, Karen White, Regina Belle, Donna Summer, Jungle Brothers, Queen Latifah, and The Cover Girls were all governed by the "Humphries handicraft".

By the mid to late 80's, Tony became the sole helmsman weaving the tunes three nights a week, thus making dance music superstars out of local talent embedded in the heartland of Newark and her surrounding areas. Summoned across the Atlantic by the British in 1987. The "Jersey Sound" was coined by their press. In addition to traveling, remix projects mounting, pumping out a weekly radio mix show, and holding down the fort at the club, Tony was in his prime making the world of dance music exciting, hip, and refreshing.

By November 1990, his 8 year tenure ended with a tearful refrain, but this didn't discourage Tony as he became in demand worldwide and relocated to London, England. In January of 1993, Tony took up the offer to be the resident jock at the Ministry of Sound club. That year was rounded off with a residency at "Echoes" in Rimini, Italy. This Italian residency continued for 4 years while simultaneously relocating back in NJ to launch his Yellorange Production Co.
It can be said that Tony Humphries has left an unerasable impression on the global dance music industry. To date over 300 venues he has gigged worldwide, done over 200 studio remixes, the latest being Janet Jackson's hit "Together Again". Throughout tremendous recognition, tons of awards and accolades from his peers, he has remained humble.

In 2006, with the introduction of a new label, Tony Records, the legendary producer and DJ continues to challenge himself by taking different directions in the music he helped to spawn.

FULL BIO

LIFELIKE is one of the most talented producer in France's celebrated dance-music scene. His CV boasts a wealth of hit productions, collaborations and remixes that have cemented his place in dance-music history.

LIFELIKE's first artistic production, enclosed the last years of French Disco madness, 'The Soul Of My Love', was released in '2001 on Demon's iconic 20000ST label (responsible for 'You Are My High' worldwide hit). Followed the next year by the underground hit 'Black Chess' that lead him to be playlisted months long by Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon as the first track that introduced their 'Together 2002' World Tour music.

It wasnt long until French Touch Icon's Alan Braxe noticed him (Alan was behind the huge summer hit of 98' Stardust 'Music Sounds Better With You') and decided to sign his single 'Discopolis' (co-produced with the german producer Kris Menace) on his label Vulture, the biggest french underground label after Roulé.

'Discopolis' was the biggest undeground sellings of 2005 and instant classic, entering the Official UK Top 40 that summer with only vinyl sellings. Boosted by a MTV censored video from Seb Janiak (director of Daft Punk's 'Burnin' video), the track was re-released the year after with some heavy remixes (Chris Lake, Kerri Chandler, Alan Braxe..), a CD single, and became again n°1 in the top sellings from Beatport for another 3weeks. (The track is still played today by DJ's all around the world)

'So Electric' the long awaited follow up, has been on the same way than Discopolis and gained huge support, especially in the USA which lead him to tour in summer 2008 for 10 dates in America and Canada with Alan Braxe. The track was signed on Wall Of Sound & Pias, homelabel for Artists like Tiga, Vitalic, 2 Many DJ's, Felix Da housecat etc...

It was not long before a multitude of big-name artists came knocking on Laurent's door hoping to secure his unique touch on their own material. Remixes for the likes of Moby, Empire Of The Sun, Chromeo and La Roux for KITSUNE MAISON , just to name a few of them, are testament to LIFELIKE's esteem and reputation within the music industry.

When not touring the world as a DJ, Laurent benefits from the opportunity to experiment musically and move in new directions with his music on Vulture – as evidenced by the Future Disco hit 'Sequencer' & 'Sunset', topping for another couple of weeks the independents charts this year.

Remixes /////
CHROMEO, LA ROUX, EMPIRE OF THE SUN, MOBY, SIA, THE PRESETS, DOES IT OFFEND YOU YEAH, VAN SHE, ANNIE, FRONT 242, THE NEON JUDGEMENT, SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM, SUPER MAL, SHAPESHIFTERS, SEBASTIEN LEGER, DEMON, TREASURE FINGERS, CAZALS, and many others..

► About LADYTRON
http://www.ladytron.com
http://www.myspace.com/ladytron

In 2001, the first fruits of what would become the new electronic-rock movement began to fall. LADYTRON's debut, 604, was an integral part of that first strike. A pristine, analog adventure of sound and substance, the album would go on to influence the genre itself, while the group quietly made a global impact both visually and stylistically.

Hits like "Playgirl" and "Seventeen" (from their 2002 follow-up, Light & Magic) quietly rebelled against the bratty, disingenuous motifs of the time, instead invoking the sonic storytelling of groups like Air, Stereolab, and My Bloody Valentine. Ladytron's counterbalance of emotional vulnerability and psychological ingenuity–personified by the opposing vocals of Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo—created their own world that had yet to be fully explored.

A year's worth of touring and experimentation led to the creation of Witching Hour, Ladytron's most sonically complex production to date. It retained the unmistakable, mechanized warmth of their Korg MS20s, but Reuben Wu's dynamic programming coupled with Hunt's shoegazey guitar layers in tracks like the intoxicating single "Destroy Everything You Touch," "International Dateline" and "High Rise" flexed a more indie rock tenacity. While the album showed distinct creative growth, their resilience outside the studio provided a different kind of maturity; the group took to the road on the strength of their massive cult following, booking sold-out tours across North America and Europe, and playing for capacity crowds in China and Latin America. Ladytron toured exhaustively over the next two years, performing for over 40,000 people in Bogota, Columbia—where their show was eventually shut down by local military.

Their most recent album, 2008's Velocifero continued this trend. "At no point have we ever responded to anything that's been going on outside," says Mira. "There are always going to be people who want you to remain in the same place forever, but that's not the way you make music, or anything else. It's obvious that you have to be allowed the benefit of the doubt to do whatever you want, because ultimately when you started out, there was no one there to tell you what to do. You just did it." Audiences will have ample opportunity to take in Ladytron's synthesis, and see for themselves how the group has redefined the genre they helped establish.

It's OFFICIAL.
BOB SINCLAR is coming!

Bob Sinclar is a living legend. We don't say that just for effect; there are a handful of DJs that have earned their stripes by persevering in the scene since the beginning of house music and Bob Sinclar is among their number, the DJ that cemented the credibility in French house and the producer who's inspired many DJs with hits both in the underground and mainstream.  Sinclar has earned his place in dance music history.

DASH BERLIN
http://www.myspace.com/dashberlin
http://www.dashberlin.com

DASH BERLIN IS THE FUTURE.

Dash Berlin is a true deejay at heart with a profound passion for the comprehensive culture of dance music. He is often described as an invigorating and charismatic newcomer, with the unique ability to leave a long-lasting impression upon his audience well after the night is over. Dash is one of those rare individuals that seem to apprehend the unwritten laws of the nightclub by nature. He keeps his ever expanding, nocturnal following alert, ecstatic and craving for more, with remarkable precision and skill. One could easily mistake him for a superstar deejay, but the truth remains that Dash Berlin is viewing the world through the same eyes as his public. "It's virtually impossible to make progress without the continuing support of the people", he said, humbly.

Dash Berlin, was born as Jeff X. Sutorius. In his late teens, Dash Berlin started working at a record shop and became a dedicated vinyl collector with a fascination for melodic, synthesized house music, subsequently known as "Trance". Inspired by pioneering figures such as; Sven Väth, Oliver Lieb and Sander Kleinenberg, he slowly but surely started to develop his own innovative style of mixing and producing. His hidden work ethic seemed not to be about producing more, but rather less and differently. It is this vision that still sets him apart in a crowded and highly competitive scene.

Propelled by his passion, he literally performed everywhere, from nine-hour gigs in shopping malls to the notorious illegal Dutch warehouse parties. During his set on the world famous Love Parade, Dash decided to incorporate the word "Berlin" behind his artist name. "It's a dedication to that metropolis and her engaging, urban landscape," he said, "Where I have seen more then a million people dancing on the streets, in the in the spirit of an ever-evolving Europe".

In early 2006, Dash teamed up with fellow producers and close friends, Molijn & Kalberg, who were regular customers at his record shop. "These guys are amazing visionaries and astonishing studio wizards, they are the foundation of my sound" Dash enthused, "I still learn from them every day".

Together they are designing an ambitious and unprecedented new division in Trance, critically acclaimed as the "Dash Berlin Sound". Futuristic, scintillating, but above all, moving and emotive music that relates to the universal dance floor experience, shared by innumerable music fans from multifarious cultures around the globe. Although a vigorous believer in political awareness, the message of Dash Berlin is simple; "It's all about having a good time again," he stated, "The art of celebrating life resonates inside of everyone".

In 2007, none other than Armin van Buuren revealed his newfound discovery to the world and featured Dash Berlin's debut record "Till The Sky Falls Down" on his legendary "Universal Religion" album. The track became one of the most memorable, global anthems that year and remains one of the cultivated blueprints of the new Trance renaissance. The mood-filled black & white music video that complimented the radio mix was shot in the heart of Berlin proper. The clip grew to be a genuine labour of love, using the latest in digital cinematography, and successfully avoided the typical clichés of modern day dance music videos.

In the beginning of 2009, under the mighty wings of Armada Music, plans emerged to expand the Dash Berlin universe with his personal, freshly inaugurated, imprint called "Aropa". It represents an eclectic high-quality outlet for Dash Berlin's avant-garde productions, collaborations, his highly anticipated forthcoming album, as well as a solid foundation for rising talent and established like-minded artists. "The Aropa hallmark holds a deeper connotation too", Dash revealed, "As it stands for the axiom of sharing art, inspiration and creativity."
