please read my statement again carefully. I said : HAD "tung tung" music NOT EXISTED
it's a hypothetical situation whereby there is NO tung tung music, and no one has heard of it.

and what is "quality sound" ? who should judge that some sound is of better quality than others ?

Kalo main di Indo, the MOST PERFECT place buat dia main ya di Stadium.
nowhere else di Indonesia yang lebih menyerupai "Limelight" (dalam segi ruang dan atmosphere) drpd Stadium.

And can you imagine "Elements" played in Stadium by its creator ?

it will be .. MASSIVE.. !!!

I have to respectfully DISAGREE with you.
Please explain why we have to appreciate new things, sound and dj's style ?
We may RESPECT new things, sound etc, BUT we do not have to appreciate them. Why should I appreciate those if they are such crap (needless to say, subject to personal taste) ? And there lien the difference.
example: had "tungtung" music not existed today, would YOU appreciate it if it'd suddenly played in clubs like Wonderbar ?

My 2 cents :
overall, it was a great night. Nice to see that once in a blue moon Stadium tries to restore itself to it's former glory.

Congrats is in order to all those who chipped in efforts to -FINALLY- produce Stadium's long awaited (way too long, methinks) its first CD Album.

DJ 19 - I was a wee bit late to really experience full journey on his music, so can't say much; HOWEVER, it was plain to see (and hear) that handled his music with a deft skill deserving his reputation, and I might add that  he was VERY entertaining..well, in a japanese sort of way ..
I WILL definitely come see your next gig in Indonesia, DJ 19 !

Bobby - Well, what can I say ... Last night (or rather, at early hours today) he proved that he IS still one of Indonesia's top DJ  (it is EXTREMELY rare that an Indonesian DJ could construct musical journey as beautiful as he does ---> meaning in layman's terms : the longer you stay in his journey, the higher you get still  )
so Congrats on your CD2, oh... and your recent marriage !!!!! 
AND..... THANK YOU SO MUCH for playing "REJ" !!!!

on a more personal note :
a quite special night at STD, and I would have certainly enjoyed it MUCH MORE, if not for some annoying tricks by some idiots, who seemed to have very little class (or gray cells for that matter)  in trying to understand BASIC etiquettes in clubbing and dance culture. Or maybe they just have no class, period.

For those dumbheads, P.L.U.R concept is as alien as if it had come from planet Uranus.

anyhow, enough of my rants.
(oh, did I mention I was also on very good substances ? )

review singkat :

great atmosphere !! (nice to see winky 'kecimpringan' sendiri  )

tapi entah kenapa sepanjang malam itu gw merasa kebanyakan set dj2 (embassy + wb) flow-nya rada2 ribet ya ?  (gw sendiri baru dateng mungkin sekitar jam 2an, pas romy di embassy udah mau selesai)
terus di wb, kadang dari track prog disambung ke track trance ?
apa memang gw-nya yang ribet ? 

anyhoo,  happy birthday WB !!!!
great going so far ! keep on the momentum and keep on making big strides  - as well as throwing in some really nice fun parties in between hehe - for the better !

if there is ONE word NEVER to be said while being inside Stadium is the use of the word  "normal".  It's just sacrilege to even whisper the word.

when EVERYONE's in Stadium could well be diagnosed as having mild-to-severe conditions of psychotic behaviour displayed in relentless pursuit of  pure-chemical induced state of bliss,
[okay... I'll stop employing using convoluted verbose structures  just to point out the VERY simple and the VERY obvious)   ---->

"when EVERYONE's in Stadium is INSANE, then and only then (that), Everyone's in Stadium is NORMAL".

anyhoo... there were times when I wished Stadium would just burn to ashes so that the very "kecimpringan" people of Jakarta find no excuse to carry on with their carnal -and ultimately, self destructive- desires to the extremes and to days no end.
