UPDATED PFROFILE
Beginning his career in the drum n' bass scenes in Singapore and Jakarta, DJ OSVALDO (formerly DJ O'OS) has since built on his talent and skills to incorporate techno, trance and progressive beats into his distinctive sound, thus creating a growingly-popular, head-bobbing, fist-punching, body-twisting music for the dancing masses.
Having rocked parties all over Indonesia (including the famous Jakarta Movement and the Lost Chapter 1 [on Bidadari Island]) and become a household name for partygoers at some of the finest clubs in Jakarta (Embassy, Wonderbar, Vertigo, Centro... just to name a few), the move to China in 2006 only proved that nothing is beyond the limit for this modern-day virtuoso. Performances in Beijing (Vics, M2 Club, Club D, Highland, Cuboo, The Bank, Manmax), Jinan, and Hongkong (Buddha Lounge, Ling, Yamla) are just the beginning.
Currently DJ OSVALDO is working on his own material, with possible collaborations with like-minded musicians on the horizon. His single "Hi-Octane" (containing the songs "Hi-Octane", "Outbreak", and "Living Things" was released internationally by Zounds Bonzai Records (Belgium) in April 2008. Future singles, including Dezora (containing "Dezora" and "Frontier Chill") and "White and Orange" (containing "White and Orange", "Fairy Tales, and "Few Days Ago") are also scheduled to be released soon, while others are on the make and are presently being tested on Beijing's dance floors.
At the same time, DJ OSVALDO remains true to his Indonesian roots and continues to establish a presence in his homeland through associations with 1945MF, the country's leading dance music troupe, and by co-hosting Putera Global Sessions' online broadcast on Sense.FM.
