Martin Laursen has spoken of his "sadness" at quitting football - but also his tremendous pride at captaining Villa.

Laursen revealed he has come to terms with the fact he will never play again - after the initial devastation.

But he said he leaves the game with many "special" memories of leading out the claret and blue troops.

He told AVTV: "It's a sad and strange day. It's strange to sit down and talk about quitting the game. Less than five months ago I was flying. I was feeling really good and everything was going great for me. Now I can't play football anymore. It's strange, weird, sad and frustrating.

"It's been a while and I am now getting used to the thought that that's the way it is - that's life. But at the start I was very upset. It was very difficult for me.

"But now, I feel pretty relaxed and able to say 'that's life' and mean it.

"I can be happy with my career - especially the last two years here with Villa. That's been amazing for me. I have enjoyed my football the most over the last couple of seasons.

"I wanted that to continue because I was playing well and I felt wonderful about my game.

"The club was - and is - moving in the right direction and I was captain.

"To be skipper this season meant a lot. It was a real honour - a special privilege.

"To be captain of Aston Villa - a big, big club - was tremendous. I enjoyed it so much."

SENIOR Manchester United players have turned on Cristiano Ronaldo and told him to stop acting like a PLONKER.
A number of them were angry with the Portuguese star's lack of respect for boss Alex Ferguson when he was substituted in Sunday's Manchester derby.

A club source said: "A number were unhappy about Ronaldo's behaviour and told him so.

"A lot of these players have grown up with Alex Ferguson as their manager and do not like seeing anyone show him disrespect."

Portugal winger Ronaldo, 24, threw a tracksuit top to the floor and mouthed an expletive as he sat in the dug-out.

But when he got into the changing rooms he was immediately told by some of the players not to act up like that with the boss and to calm it down.

Ronaldo tried to plead his case but, in the end, accepted he was in the wrong.

He left the ground within 15 minutes — more in embarrassment at his actions than in anger.

Ferguson has not confronted Ronaldo about the incident and has preferred to let him stew.

The boss now has to decide whether Ronaldo will be in the right frame of mind to play against Wigan at the JJB tonight.

United need just four points to clinch the Premier League title.

But his show of petulance has once again sparked rumours both in Spain and Portugal of him leaving for Real Madrid.

United are growing tired at Real's posturing and particularly that of prospective president Florentine Perez.

He says he is willing to offer United £80million for Ronaldo and will tempt the player with a five-year deal worth £120m.

CRISTIANO RONALDO has been warned to stop acting the prima donna because there will be only one winner... Alex Ferguson.
The message comes from Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke, who was top scorer in the Red Devils' greatest season back in 1998-99.

The Treble-winner had to learn to live with being subbed and left out of some big games, whatever his form.

But he also knew the way to behave when it happened — and Ronaldo's petulance when he was hauled off on the hour in Sunday's Manchester derby was not it.

Ronaldo stood shaking his head on the sidelines when told he was being subbed.

He then took a top offered to him by a member of staff and threw it to the ground before mouthing his disgust while sat on the bench.

After the game he was off home within 15 minutes.

Yorke said: "When you look at what is happening at United — going for the title and in the Champions League final — everything is great.

"Then you get someone behaving like that.

"To throw away his tracksuit top and huff and puff is uncalled for and out of order, there is no need.

"The manager will not be happy. He is the manager, he makes the call.

"You can go and see him in his office if you have a grievance but to act like that in front of millions of people will offend Sir Alex."

Yorke warned: "The fans will always be on Fergie's side, there is always going to be one winner. You don't want to upset him in the manner Ronaldo did. The manager makes these decisions for a reason and he doesn't often get it wrong.

"On Sunday they were cruising at 2-0, there's another game on Wednesday and Ronaldo has to understand that this is a team thing, not about any individual.

"I would be disappointed if I was subbed but not show it in the manner Ronaldo did.

"I am sure the manager will have had a word with him and show him who is boss."

The squad rotation might leave Ronaldo in a strop and frustrate Carlos Tevez when the Argy is left on the bench. But there is no sentiment where Ferguson is concerned, only the desire to do what is best for United.

Yorke found this out when he received the biggest blow of his United career as he was left out of the starting line-up for the 1999 FA Cup final.

Yorke said: "I was devastated. The manager knocked on my door at 11am. He told me I wasn't starting because he could not afford to lose me for the Champions League final the following Wednesday.

"We were on such a roll and, while me and Andy Cole were the established pairing, you knew you could always be left out. You tended to know when it was coming because he was really nice to you in training beforehand!

"As for being subbed, on my debut for United I scored twice against Charlton and was on for a hat-trick. I thought, 'This will be perfect'.

"Then, with 25 minutes to go, he subbed me. I couldn't believe it but you accept it."

Yorke says Tevez should take a leaf out of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's book rather than moan about spending so much time on the bench.

The Norwegian was a Red Devils supersub and has gone down in legend as a result.

Yorke said: "The problem is that Carlos has arrived at a time when Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo are flying.

"Ole Solskjaer used to come in and score goals and when crunch games came he could be back on the bench.

"Ole was not happy but he accepted it and, when he was called up, he was ready to go.

"The boss doesn't think, 'Poor lad, let's give him a game'.

"It has to be justified and fit into his planning.

"The club is always going to be bigger than one individual — Ronaldo and Tevez need to understand that."

Pertama2 jawabannya jelas VJ sangat di perlukan di suatu acara, kedua ngga tau gw yang ngga pernah party disini, or gw yang ngga liat flayer, so far yang gw tau VJ disini ngga pernah nyantumin namanya di flayer, and pas gw liat di TOP 20 VJ versi DJ MAG : http://ravelex.net/forum/index.php?topic=19076.0 gw juga lumayan kaget disitu ada COLDCUT, hah COLDCUT vj?. Akhirnya gw memberanikan diri 2 kali bertanya sama VJ yang main di acara pertama tahun baru,gw coba ngobrol2 setelah sotoy nanya2 alat akhir gw tanya "kok nama loe ngga ada di flayer sih", mereka jawab : "Coz we're independent, we've got contract with the organizer when they agree with our prices, all done"

Yang kedua juga sama di acara cocoon kemaren, pertanyaannya sama jawabanya juga sama cuma mereka bilangnya di contract sama tempatnya langsung. Klo ngga salah di awal pernah ada yang nyantumin prices list VJ2 deh, mending di gituin aja sekarang, pasang harga pasti, jadi ngga sembarangan tuh, apa lagi yang dadakan tiba2 minta bikin ini itu lah. yak di mulai dari saya, pertandingan EPL tinggal 3 kali lagi, LA LIGA 3 kali lagi dan sudah di pastikan 2 team kebanggaan gagal merebut target di musim ini, Villa gagal ke 4, madrid tanpa gelar. As for the Villains, end of the season canny come soon enough! At least we are looking likely to improve on last seasons finish & have qualified for Europe. Since mellberg gone to juve, laursen injured, we played like s**t, hope we can get some defenders though, like raul abiol maybe, or signings from relegated sides like collocini if newcastle down, xisco, martins.

Madrid? hmmmm cuma bisa berharap siapapun yang kepilih jadi president di juni ini bisa belanja seperlunya, dan membuang yang tidak perlu. itu aja lah cukup, juara liga tetep harus di kejar lagi, cuma juara champions walopun makin berat pastinya harus bisa lah..
