contoh, banyak diantara kita yang merasa bahwa supaya sample itu lebih punchy dan keras kita harus compress. padahal fungsi compressor yang sebenernya adalah untuk meratakan dynamic dari sebuah audio.

Nah, kasus diatas sebetulnya bisa diatasi dengan mudah yaitu dengan drag sample asli dan kalau mau process, cukup di beri substractive (pengurangan) EQ.

Intinya sih in msic production itu menurut gw "Less is More". Semoga ini sedikit membantu.

1. Might find some solution for the humidity, karena pas gw gigs kmaren yg mungkin pra-musim ujan, jadi aseli panas bgt bro, jadinya pada ngabur ke ice bar semua..

2. Might wanna change ur sound staging or even vendor.. Hehehe.. Delay si engga, tapi mayan berasa foh nya sound mental kemana mana..

Nah iya dek.. Lo liat di video gw yang demo xponent vs ableton itu kan?
Itu gue pake trik yang macro eq8. En seperti yg lo bisa liat, eq position gw 0db di detent centre/jam 12.
Selain bisa ngeset range / karakter eq yg variatif (terserah mo nyontek eq. Mixer apa)

Tapi kekurangan yang teknik ini adalah ttep blom bisa dapet kalibrasi gain yang sama ky djm, karena grid di midi hasilnya -6/+6db ato kelipatan, sementara klo potensio eq tu 1:2, contohnya di djm yg -23db/+6db

Gitu deh... It means semestinya controller mixer dj masa depan ga bole detent di value 64, melainkan. Di 90 ato 100an sehinggal kalibrasinya akurat

Duh sengsaranya idup gue dah 2 bulan ga ada internet.. Berat banget mesti reply post pake bb molo..

Dek, loe coba baca deh post gw di thread gears n techno seputaran masalah "setting eq xponnent"
Disitu gw dah describe inti duduk persoalan beda "kalibrasi" antara potensio knob analog sama knob midi controller..

Best solution sementara dari gue paling ada 2

1. Jangan pake eq3, pake eq8 en lo utilize yang namanya MACRO untuk emulasi knob nya, tinggal cari referensi yang pas sama analog (djm misalnya) untuk range frequency masing2 knob. Urusan q ntar tinggal dicari yg pas ato yg mirip ma analog aja
Yang pasti klo lu maen macro pake eq eight ini, pas midi arah jam12 (value 64) gain freq posisinya di 0db kog.
Ato lu coba2 cari di forum ableton deh, ada yang share macro racknya kog, jadi tinggal download settingan aja. Pokoknya namanya. "Dj eq rack" kalo ga salah.

2. Antara lu rewire ke traktor buat post outputnya pake eq traktor, ato lu pasang plugins reaktor yang ada page setup EQ nya traktor, karena mpumya mereka emang mirip eq dj mixer analog.

Nah itu... Sekali lagi.. Kalo gapake bb sih dah gw uploadin filenya disini...
