Berawal pada akhir tahun 2006, ketika DJ Romy berkolaborasi dengan Tyo Nugros dalam proyek yang dinamai E45. Format yang lantas dinamai E45 Evolution ini lantas berkembang lagi menjadi E45 Trilogy setelah ditambah posisi seorang vokalis di dalamnya. Kemudian, pada medio Mei-Juni 2008, Romy dan Tyo memutuskan untuk membuat format band untuk E45, dengan nama Electron45. Dan mereka adalah;

DJ Romy [sequencer]
Tahunan berkutat dengan piringan hitam di belakang DJ booth, nama Romy H.R. Soekarno sudah berada di jajaran disc jockey ternama di Indonesia. Selain sebagai DJ, namanya juga sudah dikenal sebagai produser yang sudah merilis lagu-lagunya di manca negara, termasuk di Amerika dan Eropa. DJ Romy yang juga mendirikan 1945 Music Factory ini, kini juga sudah menerima endorsement dari Korg.

Tyo Nugros [electro/acoustic drums]
Drummer ini semakin dikenal publik terutama setelah pernah tergabung dalam Dewa 19. Tetapi, sebelumnya Tyo juga sudah berpengalaman dengan Fariz RM Trio, Haris Ioni, Sic Mynded, Getah, dan Ahmad Band. Sementara di dapur rekaman, Tyo Nugros tercatat pernah membantu untuk album Iwan Fals, Anang, Reza, Tere dan Baron. Tyo juga pernah berkolaborasi dengan Tetsuo Sakurai.

Faddy Alkatiri [vocal]
Masih tercatat sebagai vokalis grup band beraliran hardcore, March, Faddy sebelumnya juga pernah memperkuat formasi The Side Project. Karakter vokal Faddy yang kuat, member nuansa yang berbeda pada musik Electron45.

Rama Satria Claproth [guitar]
Banyak yang mengecap Rama Satria sebagai seorang blues guitar hero, terutama setelah pengalamannya bersama sejumlah musisi legendaris dunia. Sebut saja Les Paul, B.B. King, Slash, Tetsuo Sakurai, Glenn Hughes, Dennis Rodman, Godbless, Harry Roesli, Elpamas hingga Iwan Fals. Rama juga pernah terlibat dalam pembuatan album milik Boomerang, Steven N’ Coconuttrees, Abdul & the Coffee Theory, Donny Fattah & Friends. Sedangkan di kancah musik internasional, nama Rama tercatat pernah terlibat dalam proses rekaman untuk album milik Lance Lopez, Eric Gales, Wes Jeans, Jimmie Vaughan, Ethiopian Dread serta Zion Queen. Rama kini juga menerima endorsement dari produsen gitar; Fender.

Dmust Akira [sequencer]
Dikenal juga sebagai announcer di sebuah stasiun radio swasta, Dmust Akira juga memiliki kemampuan memainkan sejumlah instrumen, di antaranya drum, gitar, bas dan piano. Ia juga dikenal sebagai seorang DJ, komposer musik, MC dan juga penyanyi. Dmust juga pernah terlibat dalam pembuatan mini album Soul ID.

Berbekal pengalaman tiap personel, ditambah dengan influence musik masing-masing yang juga berbeda-beda, menjadikan musik Electron45 unik dan memiliki karakter yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan musik mixtronica pada umumnya. Kemampuan Electron45 dalam menyatukan segala unsur musik di dalam album perdana dengan titel “Menggila” ini, diyakini akan dapat membuat orang menyukainya, karena di dalamnya terdapat unsur musik yang catchy dan sangat berbeda dengan musik pop yang sedang masif menjejali telinga kita. Bayangkan saja jika influence musik mereka dimulai dari Duran-Duran, New Order, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Lenny Kravitz, hingga Daftpunk… Think of electronic music, meets the sound of bluesy guitar, with the touch of rocking vocal. Ladies and gentlemen… Electron45!
