[About Terence C:At the tender age of 11, Terence was moved by what he saw on the silver screen during a showing of a little old movie called Breakin'. Though Ozone & Turbo's lockin' and poppin' impressed him, he was totally blown away by what the guys behind the decks were doing to spur those two on. Thus was planted the seed of inspiration for his life work.Terence began his actual DJing career in 1998 at Echo KL, where he started learning the ropes under the tutelage of veteran DJ Chris Doss. Progressing rapidly, he then notched up further residencies in KL at Cubeat and Globar, where his renowned seven-hour sets on weekends earned him praise from many as the "hardest-working DJ in town". Such praise did not escape the attention of Flying Frogz, one of the most established local promoters, as they invited him to play alongside David Morales for the latter's first performance in Malaysia.He continued his career ascendancy by becoming a resident of the legendary Movement in 2000. Still looked upon as one of the pivotal clubs in the KL dance scene, its large-room aesthetics and incomparable sound system allowed Terence's unique musical style to flourish. While continuously keeping the dancefloor grooving with the funkier elements of progressive and house, his strength lies in imparting a dramatic and moving sense of emotionality on his listeners that is both uplifting and energetic.Since Movement's unfortunate demise he has performed in nearly every club in KL, including The Backroom, Emporium Nouvo, and Atmosphere, as well as venturing out regionally to such clubs as Lush in Singapore and Liquid Club in Ho Chi Minh City.
