The Eclectic Freestyler Will Be in Da House. DJ Josh Wink. Or Winc, Winks, Winx - depending on the project he's undertaken, is hard to categorize. A purveyor of techno, house and allied styles – he's never stopped blurring the definitions ever since his first spin.

Starting at the tender age of 13, it took him just a few years to be a main player in the underground music scene. Inspired by Jazzy Jeff and DJ Cash Money, he released 'Tribal Confusion' under the moniker E-Culture and then formed his own label 'Ovum'. Josh has worked with high profile artistes no less than Moby and Trent Reznor and remixed a diverse range of classics from Depeche Mode to The Dave Clark Five. In 1995 he was one of the first DJ/Producers who arose from the underground to international stardom with classics like 'Don't Laugh' and 'Higher State of Consciousness'. Spurred by encouraging reviews from the media, in
particular Rolling Stone, he kept pushing music boundaries further. If there's anything that can 'define' him, it has to be in his own words, "The Best DJ experience is being able to create an audio atmosphere where an audience can absorb from me, while I get absorbed from them."
