1945 MUSIC FACTORY BEIJING

1945 Music Factory (1945MF) came into existence in Jakarta in 1998 at a time when dance music was beginning to enjoy greater play throughout the city's nightlife venues.  Having enjoyed successes in organizing dance parties throughout the nation and providing a springboard for many DJs' rise to fame, 1945MF is now one of the most successful event organizers and record labels in Indonesia.
In addition to managing events and musical talents, 1945MF has striven to excel in every facet of the development of dance music in Indonesia.  In recent years, 1945MF has immersed itself into activities such as into talent scouting and music production, further strengthening its image as not only a pioneer, but also a prime mover in the country's musical scene.
In the mid-2000, 1945MF recognized that expansion beyond Indonesia was not only possible, but also essential in order to bring the music to the masses.  During this time, a number of chapters were established in the United Kingdom and Malaysia.  In 2007, 1945MF set its foot in Beijing, China, establishing 1945 Music Factory Beijing (1945MF China), and immediately developed a strong basis for its following.
Since its establishment, 1945MF Beijing has achieved successes in organizing parties, bringing the music to a trans-generational Chinese mass.  In addition to recruiting new figures in its management and creative team to encompass a broad spectrum of interests, 1945MF has also set out to ensure its presence in Beijing's nightlife scene.
Playing electro, trance, progressive and house, 1945MF Beijing is keen not only on bringing the music of major musicians to the dance floor, but nurture the growth of local DJs and their music.  Each set is an experience, a fresh blood injected to the minds of our crowd.  Feel the sensation, live the experience.. 1945MF Beijing.


KNIGHTS :

Osvaldo Nugroho (Indonesia)
Genre: Tech Trance, Minimal Trance, Prog Trance
Indonesian-born DJ OSVALDO NUGROHO started his musical career in the dancing halls of drum n' bass lovers in the city-state of Singapore. There, he learned the basics of his music; the beats, the melodies, the sounds. He also learned that music is from the heart, and that music not only touches people, but could also move them in synch.
Since then, melodious techno beats and trance melodies have been incorporated into the music of this young virtuoso, creating a style that has received much attribute, air play, and attention from fans and critics alike. "Music is however one wants to term it, but for me, music makes the crowd shake their asses, bob their heads, punch their arms high, and twist their bodies like never imaginable", Osvaldo said once in an interview.
Prior to moving to China in 2006, Osvaldo was nominated for a number of awards the country's music industry, including by themost prestigious authority in dance and electronic music, RAVELEX. Osvaldo was also part of the movement to mainstream dance and electronica, rocking parties all over Indonesia (including the famous Jakarta Movement and the Lost Chapter 1) and becoming a household name for partygoers at some of the finest clubs in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bali, Surabaya and many more.
In China, Osvaldo has not only continued his ascent by spinning in numerous prestigious clubs in Beijing, Jinan, and Hongkong, but also took the opportunity to further his producing skills, exploring traditional Chinese music sounds and the fresh vibe of the new China and its big cities' growing night life. At the same time, Osvaldo is expanding his wings to places beyond China, gaining some flight time in Kuala Lumpur
Osvaldo's signing as an official artist of Bonzai Records (Belgium) is a reflection of his growing mastery of musical production, with three singles released just in 2008. Currently, Osvaldo is working on more material, with the possibility of one day releasing his own solo album. New sounds are being tested, new melodies explored, and beats unlike others. A whole new frontier is in its discovery.
Osvaldo has also made close associations with 1945MF, Indonesia's leading dance music troupe, and continues to host and organize Trancescapade's and 1945MF's Radio Shows online, all accessed, and always on time. In 2009, Osvaldo and a group of talented musicians and party organizers established the Beijing Chapter of 1945MF, injecting the city's already-wildly dance scene with yet more fresh blood and talent. Loving his new hometown, Osvaldo is, however, not about to settle down. Instead, he remains thirsty for more, and the world seems but a playground.

Emba (Indonesia)
Genre : Electro House
Sick and tired of listening to mediocre music being played in many of the night-time venues in China, DJ Emba thought that the only way to bring good music to the crowd is by being behind the deck, dictating the beat, releasing the melody, and making sure that everyone is having a good time.Hailing from Indonesia, the archipelago of thousands of islands, DJ Emba is a musician of a thousand influences and skills.  The smooth, naughty, and very danceable style of his mixes are a combination of his love not only for electronica, but also jazz, Brazillian bossanova, Indonesian dangdut, and Jamaican reggae.  Add a hint of rock and punk, and the crowd will get a sound unheard in any corner of this world.DJ Emba joined 1945MF China in 2007, bringing with him load of experience in the Beijing and Hainan music and nightlife scenes.  Although continuing to make use of this experience to the benefit of many other event organizers in Beijing, DJ Emba is set to make 1945MF the biggest of them all.What the crowd wants, what the crowd needs... Dj Emba is ready to serve and pamper.

Bes (France)
Genre : Progresive House
DJ BES started DJYING by funky house tunes in Paris underground places.
On year of co-production with DJ KEVINMARTY (Awarded talent clubbingzone.com), Sebastien turned into Progressive House and kept on playing smooth vocal bind to electro-dancefloor beats in Beijing. The first year was successful with two famous ONE NATION party (GIC) in VICS Club, Beijing oldest and most reputed Club in Beijing. Those two paradisiac parties moved Sebastien to a weekly Residency at VICS, surrounded by international DJ's venues.
The release of the Progressive-House podcast Chill & Loud Sessions (www.dj-bes.com) in 2008 represents the writing of a new chapter in BES career : after several crazy and full of celebrities nights in Beijing during the Olympics Games, clubs from whole China want to hear Chill and Loud tunes broadcast in their own sound system, for the pleasure of Progressive House fanatics.
Finally,1945MF label opens its door to BES in 2009, suggested to the management by his Indonesian mentor, DJ OSVALDO NUGROHO. After Beijing and China, BES is invading Pacific-Asia.

Basestring (Holland)
Genre : Trance, Electro House
Berry van Zanten known as DJ Basestring a well-respected Dutch Trance DJ in China. He stared to play Trance tunes in 2000 and was owner of Enmotion Events. His last party was in one of the most famous clubs in Rotterdam Club Tropicana He was playing next to Secret mind, Eraser, Rank 1 and Ronald van Gelderen. He stopped giving events and moved to China in 2004. He started to give is own SOLO event And played 6 hour sets. He's now connected with "Electrax Beijng" the biggest DJ Agency of China and owner of the Pump Factory label. Playing in the most famous clubs all over China. Club Cutie, Club Tang, Club 7, Club Feeling and so on. And he's the first and only Dutch DJ that played at altitude of 12500 feet (+/-4000 meter) on the plateau of Tibet.

Yuan (China)
Genre : Trance, Techno
Yuan Bing aka "Yuan" was introduced to EDM by an unlikely source. He facinated with the sounds began producing with FL in Highschool. Later he entered college in an unrelated field but was compelled towards continuing his love of making EDM music. After graduation he made EDM production his main goal. Efforts finally paid off. His first release "Xia" saw an instant top 50 on beatport.com and top 10 on djdownload.com. Pressure kept on with a top 50 prog on beatport with Fei Xue as well as the critically acclaimed East Wind. He also just completed a remix for DJ cosmo and Meighan Nealon - Naked soon to be released on Lyon Echo. And on October he will have 2 huge hits released on Blackhole Recordings which held by the most famous dj Tiesto. Yuan also recently began DJing on his own radio show on puresound.fm called Forbidden Sessions and has gone to guest mix on quite a lot of Radioshows.
