wah asik nih, udah ada yang bisa bikin beginian.. cuma emang chip yang diperlukan, di sini kadang suka susah ya.. coba hunting dan tanya sama anak bandung juga.. di sana banyak tuh.

waktu pertama si chimunx kasih tau ke gue masih bikin MIDI keyboard ya. sekarang sudah beneran MIDI controller.

30 juta??? dapet V4 3 biji... hihihi...

Iya sih.
Tapi kalo mau dihitung hitung, sebenernya lebih murah Vixid (1 unit) dari pada beli V-4 (3 unit)

Vixid = 16 input                  vs   V-4 @4 input x 4 unit = 16 input (40juta)
Vixid = 6 output                  vs   V-4 @2 output x 3 unit = 6 output (30juta)
Vixid = 4 layers mixing            vs   V-4 @2layer mixing x 3 unit = 4 layer mixing (40juta)
Vixid = 1 unit udah jadi matrix   vs   v-4 minimum harus pake 3 unit untuk jadi matrix (30juta)

jadi harusnya lebih murah Vixid. tapi karena produksi perancis dan berhubungan dengan ongkos kirim dan tax. mungkin sampe di Indonesia bisa lebih dari Rp. 30 juta. (kecuali bawa tenteng, nitip sama orang  )

Betul banget tuh, nggak semua org (VJ) bisa pake (dan cuma client2 high class yg berani sewa). Pake dataton watchout emang jadi nya bisa explore creative installasi macem macem. Tapi nggak semudah itu juga ya. Dibalik Dataton itu masih banyak pernak pernik nya lagi yang nggak murah dan walaupun kita dibayar mahal (mahalnya berapa sih sob?) sekalipun kayaknya tetep nggak kebeli sama kita. secara dapet project mahalnya cuma sekali sekali... . itu pun nggak mahal mewah. 
Dataton Watchout itu softwarenya aja kan.. masih perlu hardwarenya lagi. kalo misalnya pake 10 projector synchronize berarti kita harus punya 11 komputer yang spesifikasi nya minimal harus sama. dan berarti kita harus punya 10 dongle key lisensi. belum lagi hub, matrix dan lain lain.. ada sih yang nyewain (mungkin) kayak di Lasika surabaya... kalo clientnya mau bayar.
Kalo emang ada kesempatan yang diberikan sama bhokero untuk menjajal semua set mewah itu.. mengapa tidak... kesempatan bagus tuh... dibayar mahal pula. pake set mewah juga...

unjuk kebolehan maksudnya... lu kasih demo mix cd lu atao lu main deh di depan mereka.

Kalo lu emang serius, banyak jalan. lu pm gue deh kontak lu. terus nanti sebisa gue bantuin.

FYI di Mezza 9 Pondok Indah Mall 2, udah banyak DJ yang pake Traktor plus Final Scratch, antara lain DJ Kevin J (UK), DJ Danny de Lux (USA)

basicnya sih computer biasa hanya dia buat OS sendiri utk loading
.. tapi sepertinya cuman bisa loading image doang..

Betul banget. emang cuma bisa image doang. size 640x480, tapi effectnya emang banyak banget presetnya. jadi bisa banyak kombinasinya.
Kalo gue pernah baca di VJforums, emang OS nya based on linux.

Menurut gue sih kalo untuk yang main Live PA cocok banget tuh. sambung ke MIDI V-link nya edirol punya.
Tapi untuk harga menurut gue masih terlalu mahal $3500 an kalo nggak salah, kecuali ada yang modalin sih nggak apa ya. heheh..

Mungkin di Libre Projects bisa nyicil 12 tahun... ?

bikin acara sendiri gimana bos?? nge-eo maxud lo??

Yoi sob, nggak harus jadi eo tapi bisa kerjasama dengan eo atau cari cari informasi sama eo yang biasa bikin acara di club. banyak cara kok, bisa juga lu unjuk kebolehan sama yang biasa bikin acara seperti spinach, original naro, M1/43, sound of zeus, etc. mungkin mereka bisa ngajak lu main kalo ada acara yang cocok.

Hehehe, tanpa merendahkan siapapun.
DJ komputer masih belum bisa dianggap DJ sebelum dia diakui bisa main dengan turntable / CDJ.

Masa sih? Kalo menurut gue sih terserah DJ nya mau pake Vinyl, Plat, Compact Disc, DVD, Hard Disc, iPod, Mp3 player, komputer.. yang penting ngemix lagunya dan bawa crowd nya sob. karena emang begitu bukan ?

Nggak juga. kalo emang nggak ada yang mau nerima main di club cuma gara gara lu  nge DJ pake komputer dan software, ya bikin lah acara sendiri di club. nggak harus kursus lah.

Jangan takut lah, kalo emang bis ngemiix lagu dan bisa bawa crowd sih, main dimana aja pasti diterima.

Sasha aja sekarang kalo nge DJ kadang udah pake software ableton Live dan komputer Mac.
dan masih banyak lagi contohnya. Kalo main bareng, John Digweed pake CDJ si Sasha pake Mac dan Ableton Live.
