Known to his friends as Luca Venezia, Drop the Lime has always been a man of many faces: he began his career as a breakbeat artist before moving into more 4/4 oriented sounds, and is currently preparing a surf-rock inspired sophomore album on which he sings and plays guitar. Fabriclive 53 reflects this mosaic of musical styles, veering between dubstep, electro and classic house while fitting in odd selections like "I Want Candy" by The Strangeloves and "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley & His Comets. The mix features a smattering of Venezia's own productions as well, including previously unreleased remixes of Femme En Fourrure and Nouveau Yorican, AKA Laidback Luke and Gina Turner. According to Venezia, the mix is "not necessarily something you want to pump your fist in the air to."

"It's all over the place," he says. "I really tried to build a rollercoaster of a ride."

thanks brot..tapi gw ngga maenin DnB sama sekali..awal2 itu gw dubstep minimal kali yah gw ngga tau sebutannya, sebenernya ini ke belakangnya masih ada 30 menit lagi tapi gw potong..nah disitu ada sedikit drumstep nanti.

If you watched the 2010 VMA awards on MTV you may have seen the neon-lighted mouse doing the job of DJ high above the stage. That was Deadmau5, a house artist who was hired to mix the music for some of the performances and all of the music that was spun during commercial breaks. One of his best efforts was with Swedish signer Robyn, who we got to see a little of before cutting to commercial. Besides Robyn, Deadmau5 had to arrange songs by Travie McCoy and Jason Derulo.
Deadmau5 is the artist name for Canadian-born DJ Joel Zimmerman, and he is currently one of the hottest house artists on the market. He always wears a mouse head while he works, as his little unique catch, and he definitely did a great job tonight for the MTV Video Music Awards.
