MC Don.Skey (formsevents.com - NL)
Born Domi Nique Latoel in 1980, Deventer - The Netherlands, Don.Skey started performing and developed his MC skills at organized events namely rolleRCoaster, BANG!!, and 11 to 11 before joining THE FORMS, which was founded by DJ Tyson and is currently the most influential drum n bass regular nites in The Netherlands.

As a resident MC of FORMS, Don.Skey developed his own writing style and slang that would later characterize his rhymes which earned him the instant respect among the drum and bass scene as well as a nominee for 'Best Upcoming MC' in the Dutch D&B Awards. He also made appearances in events: Complex Beats, HaagenBasz, DIK, Dungeons & DJs, Reactive, Snakers, Club Unique' [Düsseldorf], One Nation' (Hamburg), and was one of the major MCs on the D&B Stage at the Open Air RainBow Festival [www.rainbowopenair.sk].

The  head of Subvert, one of Singapore's longest serving drum 'n' bass posses (www.subverthq.com). Before, he has spent time as a resident at White Label in Hong Kong (regularly working the turntables of Amnesia, Ing, Studio 1, Phi-Bs and Level 27) circa 2001. He has also DJed in London (playing at the acclaimed Hospitality night at the world famous Herbal club in Shoreditch) and toured Asian hot spots Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok while playing alongside Aphrodite, Friction, John B, London Elektricity, Logistics, Sonic, Pendulum, Krust & Die, Cyantific, Tomahawk, Danny Byrd, DJ Dieselboy, MC Messenian, Digital and Teebee.

Recently nominated for Best DJ at the Motorola SUPER-Style Mix Awards 2007, Zul also collaborates with star Singaporean drum & bass promoters TherapyAsia. He is now back in Jakarta once again to tear da floor apart. Watch Dis...!!


Mr. JAM - UK
Started MCing at the age of 14 in a small village called greenside before setting foot in Newcastle and get involved with Milk The Cow crew UK in 1996, which was then conceived by Don (Armaged:DON aka Mc Chicken DaDa). He got his first residency with the same crew at a local place called Rockshots where regular dnb nights were organized and visited by the likes of Mickey Finn and DJ SS. Beside Don, a friend by the name Sammy D put him to the test on the mic to a hip hop beat for the first time, and then the writing of lyrics entered his life.   

Now living in the Netherlands, Mr. Jam can distinctly remember that music has always provided him with something to focus on. In March 2001, he started a crew with Junglefever and Shapeshifter (070D&B) in the paard op hol where they had a monthly gig for a year and then moved to a new club called Jetlag. From 2002 until now, Mr. Jam is part of Snakebite DnB crew UK.

And Phunktion resident : Jerome, Celcius, DFMC, MC Drift.

ngeset Flow....kayaknya sama aja deh sma yg lain2x, yg penting harus bisa baca crowd, juga tergantung acaranya, atmospher tempatnya, sound,  jam mainya ( opening, main hour, or graveyard/penutup ). mungkin secara ngemixnya banyak pengaruh dari cara main techno / hiphop yg nyambung lagunya harus cepat atw ada teknic copping / switch , double drop or sampai rewind dan scratching. Tapi teknic ngemix panjang / deep mixing ala house / trance juga nda apa, semua tergantung keaadan di atas pas loe main. Kalo framing flow mungkin akan susah kalo diset 100 % , karena tiap party atw tempat/ crowd selalu berbeda moodnya. siapin  sekitar 30 - 40 % aja, at least loe tau mo opening , naikin, pecahin atw drop nya pake lagu apa, sisanya kayak random bilang go with the flow...read da crowd sisanya kita pikirin pas main..Kalo untuk double drop dan scrtaching sih biasanya udah kita siapin dulu di rumah, karena nggk setiap  lagu bisa di double drop ,dan untuk scratching pastilah harus latihan.

Paling yg susah secara lagu2x dnb panjangnya cuma sekitar 5 mntan dan rata2 lebih kosong ( nda kyk house /trance yg bisa 7 mnt ke atas)  jadi loe harus main cepet, konsentrasi penuh, make no mistake....hehehe, biasanya begitu taro plat ya langsung ngemix, nggak nyari2 pitch berulang2x.
Dan yg sdikit berbeda di banding genrne dance music lain adalah di set dnb biasanya lebih bebas ataw lebih bervariasi dalam lo mencampurkan element2 music yg ada di dalam gerne dnb ( kyk ngemix techno). Jadi mo dari liquid ke reegge atw dari hard roller ke samba trus pindah yg rock trus mungkin pindah lagi ke jump up gt sah sah aja selama loe bisa menjaga energy dan flow jangan sampe putus.....

bok alat lo tuh gila man...boleh nih sekali2x sample soundnya, terutama kik 808 nya tuh

CDJ 1000 MK 3 ada fasilitas/ tombol untuk  memberatkan putaran jog nya spy mendekati beratnya  putaran turntable, ( 1000 MK 2 dan 800 tdk ada). feature ini sangat berguna bagi dj2  yg belajar / terbiasa menggunakan turntable ( buat dj2x oldskool lah) , Karena bagi yg biasa banget dg turntable, mixing dg cdj jadi susah banget ...feeling nya berasa beda dan its sucks. Dan cdj yg feelingnya  benar2x mendekati turntable hanya pionerr 800 dan 1000  the other....well sucks even yg tehnics punya pun aneh( menurut gw pribadi ya...) , dan dg seri MK 3 ini makin perfect sbgy digital turntable. kekuranganya hanya harganya aja yg mahal banget. Untuk belajar dan masalah budget cdj 200 OK lah, tapi kalo udah nyoba turntable atw 1000....biasanya nggak pengen balik....hehe
