Recent findings shows that the effect of climate change is happening faster than was originally thought. This is a very very real problem.

We have to do our best to help slow this process down. Now is the time to make a change. Make it a way of life to conserve, reuse, reduce.

Here are 10 things we are doing:

1) Use less of everything. This will result in less garbage, less consumption of natural resources, less greenhouse gases.

2) Use flourescent bulbs

3) Buy a hybrid car, electric car, ride a bike, a segway. Reduce usage or find renewable powered alternatives to fuel burning, polluting forms of transportation.

4) Car pool when going everywhere work, parties, concerts etc. Use public transport.

5) Sleep together in one room and use less air conditioning in your house.

6) Don't use plastic bags or paper bags when shopping, use reusable bags.

7) Reduce or don't use flyers or posters at all when promoting events. Use email, sms, facebook, message boards etc. Use recycled paper & soy ink when possible.

Use solar water heating

9) Use as little supplies as possible. Ask your bank or phone provider to email you your bill instead of sending you print outs. Try not to print documents, photos etc. Use flash disks, digital photo frames, hard drives to archive files. Djs can play off their computers using Serato, Traktor Scratch or Ableton Live instead of burning disposable cdrs all the time. Technology can help the planet in many ways.

10) Buy locally made things. This reduces the need for unnecessary transportation of goods.

There are many more things you can do. Research it. Tell everyone you know to make this change. If everyone gets involved, it will make a big difference.
