kalo chromeo lebih ke synth-pop gitu kali ya. kalo penasaran sama sound yang gw maksud coba aja donlod mix-mix ini:

dari 2,5 jam maen gw cuma tau 2 ato 3 lagu sob. justru itu yg gw harepin dari international line up. ngasi pencerahan bgt. maennya ditahan di bpm 122. sound ambiencenya di bikin spacey bgt.

setelah DJ T di centro beberapa thn lalu, baru Todd Terje lagi yang bisa kasi pencerahan sound sound baru, dan orang2 tetep stay utk ngedenger.

todd terje gimana? bawain apa aja dia? gw ga bisa dateng

sekedar sharing, si todd sempet gw e-mail 1-2 minggu sebelum acara, gw minta dia maen sesuai idealnya dia, jangan conform ke penonton dengan mainin lagu2 predictable (berkaca dari set2nya m.a.n.d.y., luciano, dixon di jakarta yang bisa dibilang ga explore). terus dia bales, "okay, will do."

i was feeling very very strange about the crowd and played the most cheesy and safe set i played over the last year. and the people still didnt feel anything!

so yes - i was dissapointed.

i think the track u mean is the dennis ferrer mix for dido. but not sure if thats what u mean.

You played a great set last night! Maybe not as adventurous as I expected, but the flow and mixing was truly one of the best in the game. You played some unknown gems, too. What's the track that has a catchy guitar riff with a female vocal about 25-30 minutes into your set?

One thing that I wanna get across is that I feel sorry that the crowd seemed indifferent about the music you play I hated seeing them having a chit chat instead of dancing! They didn't even singalong to "Blind", "I Want Your Love", or "Enjoy the Silence". Well, are you also disappointed by that?

Menurut gw set nya gokil, menyesuaikan tempat. Tapi tetep dengan style dia.

Germany; Minimal, Tech, Deep House all corroborate in one name "Dixon"

bener bro, dixon ga se-deep biasanya dia. malah banyak muter track2 banging. yang ANEHNYA ga bisa ngebuat penonton gerak. sigh..

ya gimana lagi ya emang niat mereka dateng tu untuk bersosialisasi sih bukan demi musiknya. hehehe

GRREEAATT set by Dixon. Emang sih ga se-adventurous yang gw harepin. Dia kayanya lebih cari aman dengan muter the tried-and-true hits (not that there's anything wrong with that), tapi tetep flow sama mixing-nya supeerr.

Satu hal yg gw sayangkan, crowd-nya. The worst crowd I've ever seen. Dancefloor is for dancing, not arisan.
