Hey Guys,

Thank you for those who came to JADE's Conference - DAY ONE. There certainly were few fiery debates amongst the panels and it was GREAT!

Just to remind you, we have DAY TWO tomorrow, and we have Stacey Pullen, Mischa Daniels, Ton TB, Aldrin and WeiShen ready to give us their takes on the business.

Come meet these DJs and get to know them better personally.

With dwindling budgets or closure of record companies, one may find the road harder than it once was. This panel serves to give new insights on how to get onto the music business or to start working on your tunes.

14:30 - Compiling an Album – From Licensing to Distribution by Leonard Tan (EQ Music Singapore) and David Tumbanan with Mc Drwe as moderator.
Compiling an album should not be difficult and yet it is. From sourcing, licensing, royalties and to distribution, let this panel show you the ropes to a great album.

15:00 - Pro Tools Showcase by DJ Romy.
Showcasing the current development from Digi Design, DJ Romy will share his knowledge on how to use the Pro Tools software effectively.

15:00 - Meet&Greet with.. Stacey Pullen
This is the opportunity for you to be up close and personal with Stacey Pullen.

15:45 - Death of the Mega DJs by Mischa Daniels, Wei Shen, Stacey Pullen, Aldrin and Ton TB with DJ Sumantri as moderator.
The climate today is vastly different from years back where labels rule and CD sales are up. Now, DJs need bookings to survive and they have to fight with the many coming new DJs who market themselves digitally. What will the future hold for the DJ Superstars?

16:15 - Emcee Workshop by Vika Kova with PDouble as moderator.
An hour workshop for all aspiring Emcees by the famous Vika Kova who hosted many festivals including Embassy's Playground.

Derrick indeed is a great DJ and a true legend, too bad he's handled by the most unprofessional booking agent we have encountered in the some odd years of our experience in booking artists. As a result, the gig has been confirmed, cancelled, then the price would be jacked-up, reconfirmed, re-cancelled, and re jack-upped for one too many times. (Yes f_madness, you can say all these to your agent friend...)

We have though, secured a DJ, that is also a legend of his own, from a different part of the world, a balearic master from Ibiza, that will be a perfect companion for our sunday afternoon poolside session.

Wei-Shen is one of Australia's most respected house DJs who hosts a cult following worldwide. He has captivated crowds at some of the world's most renowned clubbing venues. In his beloved Australia, he holds residencies at some of our finest clubbing establishments and commands the dancefloors of some of the most notorious events such as Defected In The House, Hed Kandi, Summadayze, Pacha, Future Music Festival.
