REDMA 2008 DJ OFTHE YEAR

A legend among the Indonesian progressive house scene, Deny is one smooth operator who possesses the smoothest mixing skills and techniques who has played alongside with: Sasha, Anthony Pappa, Danny Howells,Armin Van Buuren Jody Wisternoff (half Way Out West), Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, JImmy Van M, James Holden, Chab, Max Graham, Sumantri, Ko Kimura, DJ Gogo, Cass(Cass & Slide),Steve Gerrard,Mike Hiratzka,Randy Katana,Andy Moor, Nic Chagall (Cosmic Gate), DJ Tarkan, V-Sag, 4 Strings, Rick Pier O'Neil (RPO), Filo & Peri, Thrillseekers and many more.  Born in Dec 1970,since 1989 Deny has explored his style of music from Hip Hop,to Psychedelic Trance, then from Epic Trance to Progressive House, Progressive Trance and Trance.

Recent rave reviewed from people for his sets at the sold out crowd in Bandung and playing alongside with Cass in Double Six Club(66),Bali for the Transcendental party in 2003,also in December 2003 marked the Deny's growing profile for playing in Godskitchen with Armin Van Buuren (December 6, 2003) and Jimmy Van M (December 12, 2003).

"Has been interviewed very exclusively and fully covered for Djakarta Magazine for their Independence Day edition in year 2000 and also in Popular Magazine on the same year. He also was a 4TH PLACE WINNER OF DMC RADIO IN 1991 and also was a FORMER CHAMPION OF INDONESIA DMC DJ CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1993, who represented the Indonesian Disc Jockey Assosiation (PDJI) to ASIA DMC CHAMPIONSHIP in Manila Philippines on the same year, for qualifying to the WORLD DMC CHAMPIONSHIP in Wembley Arena, UK." - www.concretesounds.com

Describing his trademark sound,he claimed as: " pumping melodic PROGRESSIVE HOUSE with huge basslines, with wicked effect and also TRANCE sounds layered with a big synth coating over it and also an emotional yet melodic sounds. Occasionally,since year 2000 untill now still can be seen spinning in his home favourite and number 1 club in Jakarta:Stadium,after his achievement for spinning almost 12 straight hours in the year 2001.

Both of his songs: Positive Domination and Side Kick were also being used for Indonesian horror movie called: "Terowongan Casablanca"(Casablanca's Tunnel)

Achievements:
On April 25th 2007, he has just won the REDMA AWARD: The most high ranked and prestigious Electronic Dance Music award in Indonesia, and has been crowned by tons of Indonesian voters as: "THE BEST PROGRESSIVE DJ OF THE YEAR 2007" as well as on 2005 FINAL'S NOMINEE.

This year also will be his first achievement as one of the JURY OF INDONESIA HEINEKEN THIRST SENSES 2007 COMPETITION.

In April 2008, he has won PROGRESSIVE DJ OF THE YEAR'S title for 2 consecutive years and also won for DJ OF THE YEAR 2008.
