Aly Amr Fathalah (Aly) and Fadi Wassef Naguib (Fila) are trance sensation Aly & Fila. After establishing themselves in Egypt they decided to go international. They signed with the prominent German record label, Euphonic Records. Their first release, 'Eye of Hours' received huge airplay from the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Tiesto, and many others. Due to the track`s huge success it was licensed to Fundamental Recordings in Holland and reached number 4 position in the Dutch Dance charts.

"Solid Globe has got hold of it. Eye of Horus was always quite light in terms of style. That didn't stop it from having an army of admirers." (DJ Magazine, July issue 2004). Not only that, but it was also featured on many successful compilations such as Gatecrasher Resident Transmission 02, Viva Club Rotation, Mexico Love Parade, Energy 03, to name but a few.

Fila met with Andy Prinz and they decided to launch their first sublabel of Offshore. Upcoming Egyptian releases would follow. Their first release through Offshore Music Switzerland / AP Pro Audio 'Spirit of Ka' already made it on numerous playlists. The track has already been played several times by Paul Van Dyk and Markus Schulz who did a remix for it.

Rising stars from Egypt Aly & Fila join an increasingly growing list of extremely talented DJs and producers for the future. They have played alongside the worlds biggest DJs and at the country`s hottest venues as well as some of Germany's and Switzerland's biggest clubs and events.They have been seen spinning with Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Blank and Jones, Johan Gielen,Tall Paul, John 00 Fleming , Kyau vs Albert, and many more. They were also featured in club tours such as Ministry of Sound, Clockwork Orange, Godskitchen, The Gallery and Renaissance. Also Spining at Nature One event and at the main stage of the famous Street Parade in Switzerland.

The last 12 months have been a whirlwind time for the duo, they currently stand at #40 in www.thedjlist.com with hits including Aly & Fila 'How Long', 'Lost Language' , 'Key of Life' 'Dynasty', on Offshore/ Armada Records , with Aly & Fila mixing the new Trance World Compilation 2 released February 2008 on Armada , Amadeus vs Aly & Fila 'A Dream Of Peace', A & F Project 'Uraeus', A & F Project 'Ankh (Breath of Life)', Aly & Fila 'Thebes'. And the duo have had great remix success with Armin Van Buuren – If you Should Go, Deems 'Tears Of Hope', FKN feat Jahala 'Why' on Vandit Records, Lange 'Out of the Sky', Ben Gold – Say the Words, DT8 Project 'Hold Me Till The End' and Mr Sam feat Kirsty Hawkshaw 'Split'. With their recent hits 'Ankh' / 'Uraeus' reaching Number 1 in the Dutch Dance Charts.
